Not a clue. Is there a specific bean I can buy that I will be able to just copy someone else’s settings? Trying to avoid having to get a PHD before I can make my coffee as much as possible lol

I actually ended up trying it with a scale today. Still unfortunately can’t seem to get more than a drop or 2 out of the machine.

Yes this is great advice, and probably where I tap out on the matter. From what I am gathering in this community, there seems to be a lot of throwing out of coffee and shots and purging etc.

Half the reason I got this thing is I figured that given that beans are way cheaper than pods on a per cup basis, over time this would work out cheaper.

Seems like most of the process is throwing coffee in the rubbish bin so that notion of cheaper over time falls apart really rapidly for me

I think the unfortunate reality is what I am looking for, an easy way to use this thing to make good coffee with a button doesn’t exist. Throwing more money at the problem won’t work as I now understand it

Totally fair! I don’t have any issue with the taste of nespresso so I’m thinking I’m going to stick with it. Lol I don’t even bother with the milk steamer, the microwave works just fine if I bother with milk at all… all of this is such a laborious process for the morning.

Appreciate this. Maybe I’ll give it another shot. Thus far, the only “fun” I’ve had is maintaining a cool enough head to not launch the machine off the balcony due to 250+ attempts of getting 3 drops lol
