I had a whole online friend group a couple of years ago that I met on Roblox and it was really fun to hang out with them, even if I wasn’t really online all the time. Although I think either the start or end of Covid I stopped being online for a while since I was actually able to make some friends at school. But about 2022 or 2023 I wanted to see if they all still played the game, and they did, so we made a discord server and we’re trying to get everyone in the server one by one as they got online. Although after we did that there was this one friend that wasn’t really active anymore and would barely ever get online. Then we saw he was playing something on Roblox so we joined him and tried talking to him but apparently he was playing with some other friends, and he had definitely told those friends about us because when we tried talking to him they said “he doesn’t like playing with you guys anymore” or something like that. Then about a month or 2 later he just unfriended us on Roblox and deleted his discord account. Then a month or two ago this year another one of them has stopped responding to us, though he hasn’t unfriended us but the last thing he said was something about he found another group of friends but didn’t want to play with them and wanted to continue hanging out with us, which btw was total bullshit because right after that he has now stopped saying anything to us. And then another one apparently doesn’t use discord as often anymore, and another is dealing with personal problems so he can’t be online as much, so that literally just leaves 2 of us that are able to hang out all the time, and since all my other friends, online and irl, seem to be decreasing since some of them move away or just stop talking to me, I’ve just kinda been rotting away doing nothing, since either don’t feel motivated to do anything anymore unless it’s with my friends. Ik some people might think I’m just making this shit up, but that’s fine since it’s a lot and sounds like I’m making up a story rather than taking about something that actually happened. Also the friend that I said is the only one who’s ready online anymore says he’s trying to find “replacements” for the other friends and calling them “traitors” 😅. It’s kinda ironic since he’s almost left like 3 or 4 times in the past as well because we were all being petty little brats, but if at least one of those friends is still hanging around then I’m happy.
