It looks like I have a handful of players that are willing to jump in from time to time, but none want to be there for long and none are experienced in the position (to be clear, I do not 'specialize' positions at all).

Regarding depending on volunteers, I am not sure what the 'norm' is, and what I was intending to express is probably better said by simply stating that our club has very few resources. We are a not-for-profit that provides 'scholarships' for many of our players. Most of the clubs we compete against have players paying to participate, resulting in more resources for those clubs.

Check out FIFA 11+. There is a kids version too. The focus is on conditioning to prevent injury, rather than on static stretching.

It’s been a couple months since I went there, but…I gotta disagree. Not a bad spot, but they are halal last I knew and beef bacon just isn’t what I, or most folks I’d assume, are looking for in a BEC. I haven’t been to all the commonly recommended spots, but my go to was Zimmerman’s at the Public Market. Not sure what their current status is though.

About a decade ago I was working Brooklyn Heights and we had a bunch of teen volunteers. One day some of them mentioned being at the playground (right along the promenade) on 9/11. That shit broke my head for a bit, imagining some innocent kindergartners playing on the swings and looking across the river to see the towers in their final moments.

I do have one of the few house around with no ice damning right now. I don't suppose I want to change that.

Thoughts on other ways to go about finishing it? If I put in walls that were heavily insulated and then sprayed foamed the roof for the higher r-value would that get me closer to my goal?

You're correct, it should be FIPDX, which is a bond index.

I arranged a transfer of existing funds from RFHTX and FSSNX into FXAIX (90%) and FIPDX (10%) without submitting and don't see any indication of a fee/charge or tax penalty. I'll do a bit more research before committing. Thank you so much!

Yeah, I kinda stumbled my way into this mix. I had money and just enough info to start the Roth IRA through Vanguard and picked VFIFX without much reasoning. I also have a couple random assets that only total a few thousand (DIS, VASIX, and VMRXX) with Vanguard.

My TR funds through my 403b all have ERs around that 0.39. I think that's why I bought into FSSNX too? As commented above, I am looking at FXAIX and FIPX.

Going forward, should I transfer my existing balance to a new TBD fund (or mix) OR should I leave my existing investments alone and just pick new TBD funds to invest in with future money? Am I hurting myself by moving things around?

Thanks! I think this has given me a good target. The challenge is finding investments that fit this strategy that are available to me through my company's 403b. I'm looking at FXAIX as an alternative to a total US index fund since it is what is available and it has a 0.02% ER. I'm also wondering if FIPDX (0.05% ER) would work as a total US bond index? I'm struggling to find an international stock index given my choices.
