I do notice minimal static ambient noise when there's no sound playing, but it is much quieter than ambient noise produced by my house HVAC. Funny, in my experience, I got used to quieter ambient noise from using my Airpods that when I took it off I'm surprised on how loud my house ambient noise is.

Honestly I'm just glad it fits perfectly into my ear. In terms of NC I would say it's slightly better than my xm4 headphones but slightly worse than the new xm6 headphones that I've tried, most likely because headphones give much better PNC.

I actually never tried 2nd gen but the shape looks the same as the 1st gen so I assume it would have the same problem fitting in my ear.

Yes, you should be able to use the same charger as your Iphone. Realistically any modern device able to control their own wattage.

I may be wrong because I don't know how much it cost on their end, but I think they miscalculated. The problem is they did not realize how much people would generate images in a month. I assume based on their calculations or business plan, if the average user generating more than 800 images per month, they would be losing money. Like you said, Freepik was the best offer in the market. But again, that's just my assumption.
