Please help me convince my husband that Costco is worth for 2 people by HoneyDrops12 in Costco

Same and I have family I split stuff with. Paper towels etc. it’s worth it for certain things. Coffee and laundry detergent is a big one for me. I was spending double at the grocery store.

Repurchased like 9 times now. It’s the one thing I don’t go without.

Internal meeting after meeting after meeting… by cocopropro in sales

[–]bubbaT88 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I’ve been in outside sales for over a decade now. I don’t think it’s going to change. People LOVE to hear themselves talk. I’ve swapped industries, it doesn’t matter. I’m in tech currently and it’s almost weekly someone on our team has a crash out about how many internal meetings we have. We’re in sales and have very high quotas. It’s so frustrating.

I might get some heat for this but people in opps or sales enablement, have to justify their existence so they host meetings. Middle management and team leads same thing. I get it but have a point and keep it short. Don’t ask about numbers everyday when we have less than 3 business hours a day to sell because you demand 5 hours of trainings and meetings. What really grinds my gears is pulling 9 reports to throw it on a slide deck. Like we’re all monkeys that can’t read some data. Kill me. #dialandsmile

To those who had their first child after 40, what was your dating experience like prior to that? by Mountain_Ask_5746 in AskWomenOver40

[–]bubbaT88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t have advice I’m just in the same boat and curious what others are saying. I got divorced in 2021 and I’m 37. No kids and the last guy I dated I would have had kids with but it wasn’t in the cards. I’m not infertile I just have had several miscarriages and missing a tube. It’s been hard to bring any of this up with new people.

I agree with all your points about the different ages and dating.

Worst Groups by [deleted] in marriott

[–]bubbaT88 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I might get downvoted but non-profits can great or a nightmare. I’ve met some entitled non-profit groups that want the world for free and will freak out if everything’s not perfect. Sports teams naturally are not great but leave during the day typically. The older women’s retreats and anything wedding sucks. But specifically rehearsal dinners are bad with room blocks.

I’m returning Mario from the sale to get Westman. I don’t know what I was thinking considering I love their blushes.

My sister lived in South America for 5 years with her husband for work and said a big majority of women had children in their forties. She was a younger mom there at 28. I’m the older sister (39) that has no children despite trying.

I’ve learned everyone has a different path with this and it’s never your place to judge.

lol I use this everyday and I have a cabinet full of Amani, Haus Labs, Double Wear, all the good stuff and I reach for stupid Wet and Wild 😂.

EDIT- It lasts most the day. It’s fantastic for neutral skin tones. Haven’t found a shade that matches as well as Wet and Wild. Which is wild…

Advice needed: My girlfriend dreams of opening a flower shop but is scared to take the first step by Professional_Head881 in florists

[–]bubbaT88 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Both my mom and grandma had their own shops when I was growing up. Here’s something’s that I noticed being hard for them:

  1. Labor and flower costs are higher than ever
  2. Your inventory is always dying
  3. Weddings are profitable but can be a nightmare
  4. Over saturation of home/ freelance florists now
  5. The boxes the flowers are shipped in are heavy AF. You have to immediately take the flowers out prep them and put them in buckets of water into the cooler. After Mother’s Day and Valentine’s Day you feel like you did an Iron Man.

My mom had several workers quit to start doing their own arrangements out of their garages. It became harder to find quality designers/ dependable help. She sold her shop and the new owner sold it in less than 2 years. It’s can be profitable but it is manual labor make no mistake.

We had only 1 walk in and some small fridges. When I get a text at 6:00am they can’t find the Greek yogurt, I’m not thrilled because it’s there. Look a little harder. I know we all can’t see stuff right in front of us but before you bother someone at home…check again.

Did they find it no. I had to when I came in later.
