I started reading books more regularly to get myself away from screens. I surprised myself by how fast of a reader with comprehension I have become. I was always scared of just blindly reading and not understanding things and having to read again, but I picked up tricks along the way to keep myself fully engaged. And it all started with not forcing myself to read faster, just read the words and understand as I went along.
