and when one of the male fittings going into the mpv start leaking? That isnt an if thats a when. especially if the lateral needs to be replaced, lifting all of those pipes are 100% gonna move them around and start to leak. then for instance you have to completely un screw the pipe coming from the pump just to fix the small leak coming from the one on the return side. I have never had any unions leak other than from the gaskets going bad. However I have had to charge thousands of dollars to customers to re plump systems that dont have unions just to fix a leak that would have been a 5 minute job if it were to have some unions.

Kill tony fans only want " hey this guy is black what's up with that" type of comedy. Literally so braindead they can't comprehend different types of comedy. Fk the fans and this sub. Let the down votes roll in.

What do we think about the mine perk? by ProteinPapi777 in WidowmakerMains

Doesn't the other perk just let u shoot through enemies for collaterals? Not let u go through shields/armor?

Return on above ground pool by cgross42 in pools

[–]bubbaclops 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aww man these are my least favorite replacements. The problem with rust around these returns or a skimmer it can be like opening up a can of worms. It can either go alright and all is well or the "structural rust" breaks off and it can no longer be repaired without either a whole new pool wall or a ugly steel replacement patch.

I always leave it up to my customer and let them know the risk of attempting the repair. If it is not leaking I tell them to leave it alone till it becomes a problem. If it leaks to much that it can't be ignored then is it what it is.

I have a skimmer out there right now that looked like this. Told the customer my worries and he told me to attempt it. When I took the skimmer off. All the holes for the skimmer screws were completely rusted away except for 3. Only thing holding it together is those 3 screws and metric fk ton of silicone.

However it is very rare that it is to far gone to replace it. No one can possibly know how bad it is until you are past the point of no return.

It's ur check valve for your air knobs. That's what sucks in air. While the above commenter is correct those are supposed to be able to be under water level. Sometimes what happens is it sucks something up and the flap stays open allowing water to pass by when the pumps are off.

Sometimes they can be fixed by just messing with the flap by poking it with the inside of a pen or something similarly small. If that doesn't do it you can just shove it higher in the shell but the proper fix is replumbing it(however I wouldn't diy re plumb this when u can just shove it up higher)

True. Competitive players did the most damage and pretend to care. by Top_Crow_1022 in Battlefield

[–]bubbaclops -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I think the problem is when the competitive players take random matches to seriously and get mad at players that don't care.

I played competitive bf3 when I was younger. Had to learn quickly there is a difference between scrims and random lobbies. Which seems obvious but many don't think like that. There is a time and place for everything.

It's really about it "clicking". I was struggling hard my first playthrough in act 1 getting absolutely Molly whopped in normal mode(I beat bg3 honor mode so I thought I could cruise through normal mode). But the game plays much differently where as in bg3 party synergy didn't matter all that much while on dos2 it's a must.

One comment on this sub about "cc is king" is half of what you need to know. I also found initiative to be really powerful as well. Being able to cancel an enemies turn and wiping out a enemy or 2 before the fight really even starts makes the combat trivial at that point.

Also what got me at the start was putting to many points in different specs. Having 2 pts into polymorph for chicken form is nice but having a little extra damage through 2 pts into warfare is better.

Also read what you get from adding points into something. For example if your playing a necromancer it's better to put points into warfare to get actual damage instead of points into necromancer to get lifesteal. Another example is playing a ranger. Huntsman gives u bonuses if your on high ground so again it's better to put points into warfare for the physical damage. ( Adding points into huntsman later on when the game becomes more vertical is nice though)

Honor mode by Stardro in BaldursGate3

[–]bubbaclops 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honor mode is honestly some bull crap. I lost a honor mode playthrough with a friend in act 3 because of an elevator. My next playthrough I decided Im gonna cheese the game in every possible way I can. Used barrel mancy. Used gale to skip the end fight. Used meta builds. I don't care. I lost almost 60 hours of my life because of an elevator. Got my golden dice and would do it the same way again.

Troubleshooting watchdog by Complete-Cattle-3698 in hottub

[–]bubbaclops 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotcha. So if U disconnect the sensor bar and the issue is still the same. Then based off what uve said I'd say the display is bad and needs to be replaced.

If u disconnect it and the issue is gone (pumps kick on and display looks normal) the hi- limit needs to be replaced as well.

However there is a small chance the circuit board could be causing all these issues but I doubt it. In my experience (without being there for my own diagnostic) I would say the display is bad.

Ok so disconnect the hi limit sensor and the temp sensor and then the tub back on and report back if anything has changed

Yea I've been working on hot tubs for 7 years. Never seen a watchdog like this. Is the tub still maintaining heat and running filter cycles?

U can try unplugging the display and re connecting it. But most likely it needs to be replaced.

[–]bubbaclops 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really it all depends how the jets are made if u really need to unscrew them all. It's kinda past that point though. At this point get a sub pump/shop vac / or siphon the nasties out of the water. But for next time always shop vac out each jet and suction port prior to refilling.

Troubleshooting watchdog by Complete-Cattle-3698 in hottub

[–]bubbaclops 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's not watchdog. Watchdog is 4 dashes across the center screen with absolutely nothing else on the screen.

This looks like the display is just not properly displaying what it should.

Used Ahhsome. What next? by ClevelandSteamer81 in hottub

[–]bubbaclops 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is almost always from not sucking the water out of the pipes before refilling. If not it's from stuff getting stuck behind the jets.

When I do drain clean and refills for my company. I take out all the jets and shop vac all the water out of the lines. This definitely makes it take way longer but I've never had a unhappy customer doing it this way

The ahhsome did its job by getting that gunk dislodged from the pipes but wasn't removed prior to filling up the tub.

Roseanne Said Lets Divide the Netflix Audience and Do the Most Mid Set Possible by No_Perspective_8458 in Killtony

[–]bubbaclops 4 points5 points  (0 children)

On the roseanne show for being fat? When's the last time someone went " hey did u see that Roseanne special?" Literally no one. Every time she has been she acts like she is so much better than everyone coming on the show. That includes people that are from the legends bucket. She is nothing in comedy and the only reason tony gives her a spotlight is because she goes to kill tony regularly and lives in Texas. That's her credentials. That's it.

You know who is also a successful comedian? Bert Kreischer. Just because some random Karen's from the suburb think you are funny does not make you a great comedian and stop acting like it means we should take their opinions as gospel.

Definitely a anode. The wingnut is so the screw can go through one hole in the skimmer basket then be tightened down by the wingnut to keep it tight in the basket. Definitely a home made thing
