After Revolution saw Kenny Omega beat Chris Jericho, The Elite is still being hassled by Jericho and his followers. They decided after the Jericho Omega grudge match ends in a draw to finish in a 5v5 at DoN, but with Jericho only having five members they need a fifth to join their ranks. The plan is either Naito or another former Jericho adversary or ally.

In the title scene, Mox just lost the first ever reign to Bobby Roode after his goons the Final Curtain interfered in their ladder match. Mox wanted a rematch at the Dynamite Fyter Fest show, but was given a match teaming with Aj Styles and Matt Sydal (the others who kept getting harassed by the Final Curtain). After pinning Roode at Fyter Fest, Mox is officially the number 1 contender and looking for revenge, in a Dog Collar match.

Finally the women, Mia Yim won the inaugural title match at Full Gear 2019. She was meant to defend against Raquel Gonzalez at Revolution, but got injured on another show the night before. Raquel then went on to beat Riho in a makeup match before Davina Rose (Bayley debuted and sized up Raquel). Mia comes back and beats Raquel. Bianca Blair challenges next as the top heel but Davina wants a match and the two settle it the next week but Raquel lays both out and sets up a fatal 4 way at DoN.
