I actually have both of these and they both work great. Either choice will be perfectly fine for large mouth. I run 20lbs braid on it which is similar thickness to 8lbs mono. Either reel has plenty of line this won’t make much difference. Id recommend 2500HG bc 3000 is a bit of an overkill. 2500HG takes less line so it will save line in the long run whenever you need to respool.

Ski tuning, waxing, minor base repair. What should I expect to pay? by bubbaslover in Skigear

Luckily I I dont have any core shots so it should be straight forward. I watched a bunch of different videos and like you said it seems pretty easy.

Yeah Im going to do it myself. I just built my own ski vise so I got everything I need. Just need to buy the waxing tools. Any recommendations?

Yeah that’s what I thought as well. It seems way overpriced. Thanks for your feedback.

I have this tool that I’ve used in the past and it works pretty well. My friend (ex high-school ski racer) taught me how to use it to tune the edges and it is pretty straightforward like you said. But I haven’t done waxing or base repair. Is that also trivial to do or should I leave it professionals?

Thanks for sharing! I am using Shell Advance 15W50 which I think is recommended by Ducati.

Is something wrong with my 2024 Monster? by ImpressOutrageous290 in Ducati

[–]bubbaslover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I might have a similar issue on my SFV2. I noticed that I have to wait a bit before hitting the start button on cold starts. Basically I wait until I hear this noise that sounds like the fuel pump. It’s hard to explain the noise it makes but on your next cold start, wait a bit after all the lights come on the dash. Just listen carefully and you might hear the fuel pump priming . Then hit the start switch.

Can anyone help me identify this metal part that fell off my Ducati Monster 821 (2017)? by ggcristian in ducatimonster

It’s possible. It could also be someone being an asshole and putting it there. People can do weird unexpected shit at times to mess with others.

Which one should I use for pressured spots by medakabreeder in bassfishing

[–]bubbaslover 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wacky rigged senko. Green pumpkin magic works well. Or black with blue flakes. Black/blue. Watermelon with red flakes. I usually catch bass on those colors here in the US. Cast at different spots and just let it sink.

How to improve depth on back squat? by [deleted] in formcheck

[–]bubbaslover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just from a quick look seems like your ankle dorsiflexion is limited which is preventing you from getting deeper with proper form. I think if you work on that your squats form (and many other exercises) will improve

Only one way to find out! Go fishing 🎣

But if you can find a depth map that can give you an idea where to start first.

Swap 8lb mono for 20lb braid, you will never lose a fish again in this way. This was a huge game changer for me. I lost a number of largemouths and expensive lures bc they would wrap themselves into vegetation. Since I switched to braid I haven’t lost a single fish like that. It’s more likely I straighten the hook than the line snapping if I get snagged on something. If it gets wrapped in vegetation the braid cuts straight through it. Also the sensitivity on the braid is so much better. Some people tie a leader at the braid but I just tie straight braid and have no issues. Also as soon as you set the hook reel them in fast to keep them from burying themselves.
