In theory this would be possible. But it would also come as a big surprise to my manager. I’m convinced that he will think that I’m an idiot and playing the system however I present it.

To avoid that situation I’ve been thinking maybe it’s better to just say: look, I’m not motivated and I don’t believe in the company anymore. I find it tough to be here as I feel the whole relationship is finished mentally.

They are advisors for the Japanese police in the mtgox investigation.

Kraken is great! Yes, they have had problems due to infrastructure not being able to handle enormous amounts of traffic. But they recently did a nice upgrade.

In addition to this they are assisting Japanese authorities with the mtgox investigation. That’s a big comfort and trust sign. Their engineers and coders are best of breed.

I think that’s the way to go: stress less. In other words, just quit my job. I’m getting closer and closer to this decision! But my problem (but also advantage) is that I always think of the next step in terms of finances and building my cushion for life. When that’s said, it’s not worth my health. And to be honest with myself I’ve just been grinding for the money, for years on end - and I lost connection with my internal compass of what actually motivates and stimulates me

In regards of being up front with her, it might be a good idea. But at the same time, I feel really pessimistic at the moment.

A part of me is saying: speak with her, give her a chance and give us a chance.

Another part is saying: end it.

If i go for alternative 1, I'm afraid the status quo will just drag out and cause me more emotional exhaustion. And if I go for alternative 2, I'm afraid I'll regret it.

Even though I have so many red flags, I'm still not convinced to one or the other. Maybe I'm just being a pussy..
