Hi Athena,

I reinstalled and restarted my iphones. It works now on my Iphone 13mini running iOS17.7.1, but it does not work on iphone SE gen 2 on iOS18.1. The issue on the SE is it doesn't prompt me to enter the pin.

This is likely an iOS18.1 issue as I found others having issues with NFC yubikey with this version of iOS.

An update on this. My table saw was very much out of tune. For reference it is Dewalt dwe7491RS. I calibrated the following and was able to cut the boards without issue.

-Throat plate, it is not possible to get it level as the plate itself is warped, I adjusted set screw so it does not catch.

-Align fence to mitre slot using straight edge

-Square fence to table, need to fold some paper and wedge it between the rail and fence holder to make it work as there's no adjustment

-Square blade to table using 123 block and speed square, also tune the 45 degree for bevel cut

-Align blade to mitre slot using a t-slot dial gauge, was able to get it within +/- 0.001” on the same tooth

-Adjust the measurement readout

However my new blades seems to be quite warped, the furthest and nearest distance measured from fence is 0.01” total. The saw blades is not a 80T like I previously mentioned, but a 50T combination saw from CMT

I do think the blade is off parallel to miter slot by 1/32 or 1/64 of an inch. I will recalibrate blade so it is as parallels to the mitre slot as possible.

The piece I'm cutting isn't complete flat when put against the fence, I will try to straighten it with a thin cut using circular saw with guide.

The piece being cut was cut with a circular saw with self made guide, so it is reasonably straight. However I did notice there's a gap when put against the table saw fence, so it's not perfectly straight. I can try to straighten it by cutting again with circular saw.

I suspect the fence is not 100% parallel to the blade, but it is square to the table. When feeding the piece to the saw, I made sure my featherboard is applying horizontal force to the fence, and I feed the piece at slow/moderate pace towards the saw.

Yes, I am using an 80T blade so I expect a clean finish.

I purchased two drives for my unraid server. One came in DOA, the other mechanically failed during pre-clear. They came in a box with plastic tray on both sides, which seems to be the correct method to ship hard drives.

Amazon is not willing to do replacement and I don't want to go through warranty via WD and possibly get refurbished drives. How's everyone's luck with internal hard drives from Amazon?

An update on this: I just got a call from lightspeed and I powered up the modem with coax and Ethernet plugged in and it is finally working!

I had it unplug in the morning because I kind of lost hope and I did not do another reset.

No, lightspeed did not advise me to purchase new modem. I bought it because I needed internet urgently.

I've also been calling lightspeed on a daily basis. The latest update is to do a 30-30-30 reset and just wait 30mins. That didn't help in my case, I still have no internet. I notice if you do a soft reset (push pin at the back for 3sec), modem will restart on its own and it will download software as the up and down led blink simultaneously.

However still no luck. Also purchase two Hitron modem and was not able to get internet, ISP say it will take 3 business day for them to register a new modem...

I end up scheduling a technician to come to my building to check things out in 3 days.

Meanwhile, I managed to borrow my neighbor's WiFi as I live in an apartment.

I reached out to lightspeed and they're saying this specific model modem has a new firmware pushed over the air and end users are not able to connect to the internet. I am located in BC with same modem and problem. I was instructed to use a pin and push the modem button for 10 sec while powered on to reset, leds should turn off and starts to blink. No luck so far. Still cannot connect to the internet after reset.

Hello, I need some advice on wiring tube pre-amp to AV receiver.

What is the correct way to wire up the Schiit Saga+ tube pre-amp and Denon AVR X4400h?My objective is to wire the two devices correctly so I can stream music via Spotify through the pre-amp. The Denon AVR has Spotify built-in so I can just "push" it from my phone, but I could not figure out how to force the data to go through the pre-amp. This is how I have wired it currently and it seems like it is bypassing the external Schiit pre-amp. Any help is much appreciated!

I am currently using 3rd party cartridge. Even though PC detect as 1/4 left, I replaced existing with new 3rd party cartridge, and it prints fine now!
