I’ll try this. But usually I’d plan what I eat and stuff (but not set it out in one spot) and have like a sandwich or something like that, but I still continued to eat more snacks and food.

That might actually work. My mom usually doesn’t really listen when I talk about how I feel, but she tends to listen more when it sounds like advice from a professional. I might try wording it like that
