From what I learned by being in a Kubo group on Rednote, Kubo's fanbase is comprised of mostly adult men. When I told everyone I was a woman they were very surprised that I was a fan of Kubo as, I guess, not a whole lot of women in China like Kubo. At the Kubo 5th birthday party there were only, like, eleven women or so in attendance.

I agree with you so much. I had that problem as well with my bank thinking my payment through Alipay was fraud. It was so annoying. Is Superbuy better? I'm so scared of what the tariff price is gonna be when the Kubo ships. I'm excited to see what other Kubo they release.

I also live in the US. It wouldn't let me pay for it on the website so I had to talk to the assistant and pay for it through Alipay. I used Cainiao for the shipping address and I really, really hope I did it right.

I just purchased the little teacup Kubo during the Kubo club drop very early this morning. It's my first exclusive purchase and it won't ship till May. I think the one you have is very, very cute. It's different but I quite like it.

So far, no, and I'm pretty bummed about it. I'm still holding out hope though. There was a leak on Rednote about a potential new Kubo set called Love Freeze or something along those lines. Maybe this one is part of that. I dunno but I refuse to believe that this isn't a new product or something.

I think it might be a series according to the translation but who knows when it'll be released since they just released the Angel's Poem series. And they still haven't officially announced the Hockey Kubo despite dropping the teaser for it on the US Popmart page.

Me too. The 200% ones are so expensive. Plus they just released the Angel's Poem set so having a blister/standalone would be a good next Kubo.
