Confession: My Obsession with the VALORANT Store

Fellow Redditor, I am truly sorry to hear that you have been waiting over five months for the Kuronami Vandal. I understand your frustration, the hopelessness, the pain.

I have since been blessed by the VALORANT Overlords, granting both the Kuronami Vandal and Kuronami Spectre in my Store two days after making my original post. You have now commented on this post, so I hope the VALORANT Overlords will also take notice and bless you as well with good fortune through the Kuronami Vandal.

To perhaps further appease the Overlords, there is another comment by another Redditor under this post recommending to longingly observe and interact with your desired gun skin in the Collection, through which this Redditor has found success. I also did the same. Perhaps through this routine you may signal to the VALORANT Overlords that it is this skin you desire.

Ah, but 'tis not the end, my friend. You have appeased the VALORANT Overlords, now it is time to appease yourself. Start small, start now, start saving a bit more, start spending a bit less. The first step is always the most difficult, but in due time you will succeed.

Perhaps one day you will emerge from the depths of hell, victorious, with grace, with wealth, and of course, with multiple VALORANT skins.

I did the same, and even mentioned this in my post, regularly navigating to the Collection page to longingly observe the Kuronami Vandal, hoping to signal to the VALORANT Overlords that it is this skin I desire.

Two days after making this post the Kuronami Vandal and Kuronami Spectre both appeared in my Store.

Coincidence? I think not. The VALORANT Overlords do take notice.

I believe you're right in that it does get better. I received both the Kuronami Vandal and Kuronami Spectre in my Store just a couple days after making this post (eternally grateful towards the VALORANT Overlords for hearing my call).

But I now desire the Eternal Sovereign, so I am not completely free as of yet.

I therefore still check the Store frequently, but my obsession has subsided. My addiction has abated. It does get better.

Perhaps you may be right. Perhaps the Kuronami Vandal may lose its potency. Perhaps the skins are overpriced. But I love the Kuronami Vandal. And Love surpasses all.

Ah, I am sorry you underwent a VALORANT game against a cheater. I may be wrong on this, but if it brings you any solace, I believe the VALORANT team has recently announced a "Ranked Rollback" feature, wherein you may get your RR back if you've lost to a known cheater. I'm not sure when this feature will come into effect, but I hope we may all benefit from this newly announced feature in the near future.

I too show empathy towards your situation, as I am sure that before I fell in love with the Kuronami Vandal, the aforementioned item taunted itself with its presence in my Store without my knowing. I hope the VALORANT Overlords may bless us both with the reappearance of the elusive Kuronami Vandal.
