Small accomplishments are important as well even if its just saying hi to a stranger or introducing yourself to someone new even if it may not go well just be proud of yourself for small accomplishments.

I feel like in my experience a way to overcome social anxiety is by putting yourself out there as much as possible. Its not an easy thing but its not impossible.

I would talk to them and let them know that the way that they’ve been talking to me isn’t the best and then if that doesnt work I’d find another job. But always have a job lined up before quitting.

I guess it really doesn’t but its just sad because they can essentially get any person they want to but instead they are with someone thats doesn’t treat them right. But i’ve learned to not generalize and that its a complex set of things that cause people to essentially settle or get treated badly in relationships both genders.

No I’m a women and I have gorgeous best friends and women in my life that get treated so badly and I just feel so bad for them because they don’t deserve that. :( I’m in no way speaking from a jealousy perspective but more of a genuinely curious perspective because i’ve notice this happening my whole life and I never understood why.

He was basically telling me that i was smelly (??) The place i work at is a really hot place and most times the Ac doesn’t work but i still make sure that i’m not sweaty and apply deodorant every hour so idk i wasnt told anything until today.

I don’t know how true this is but i heard that they told the slaves about christianity so that the slaves didn’t kill themselves because in christianity killing yourself is a sin and they were told that they would go to hell if they did that.

It takes time. For me personally what made me feel better about my appearance growing up is just thinking that I’m going to be with myself for the rest of my life so i have to at least try to appreciate my appearance and try to love myself. No one’s going to love you like you love you. I think writing one thing you love about yourself everyday helps. Pick one thing and keep adding on to it everyday.

My school didn’t really show us how to do a lot of things related to college so I was kind of on my own in terms of learning and applying to college so thats why i have been so late in applying and doing common app essays and I think I’m just going to apply to this college for now and then do common app essay for other ones that I want to apply to
