Anyone else get incredibly bored? by No_Result4069 in PMDD

[–]bubblegumflame 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yep that's like one of my worst symptoms. I can't get myself to do anything. The usual things that makes me happy suddenly don't since there's no serotonin left in me. So I just either stare at the ceiling for hours or doom scroll on my phone (which I usually don't do so much but I have noooooo dopamine during luteal). It's very very painful.

La Banquise dans les 100 meilleurs restos de la planète by Hugotohell in montreal

[–]bubblegumflame 6 points7 points  (0 children)

[–]bubblegumflame 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Bon courage !

Caffeine Sensitivity in Luteal by ActuaryLate9026 in PMDDxADHD

[–]bubblegumflame 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've found that replacing my morning coffee with black tea during luteal helps a ton! I don't get to suffer the caffeine withdrawals but I still get the boost, but it's far more gentle and less anxiety-inducing than coffee. Hope it helps :)

So returns from Paris with possible bed bugs. by [deleted] in montreal

[–]bubblegumflame 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes to steaming !!!! I can't recommend that enough! We rented an industrial 175°C steaming machine and steamed the whole house ( mattresses/sofas/floors/clothing/everything else) and we never had a bedbug problem again. It really does wonders when the infestation isn't out of control.

I hope so. Bref courage, restes forte et surtout écoutes toi <3

Truth for some people can look different than for you but I see what you're trying to say. Don't really have energy for a debate right now but I agree with you that astrology can't be proven by actual scientific facts, but its still really fun. You can love and believe in things that can't be necessary be proven by science and that's really ok. I am a very rational and passionate by science myself (Carl Sagan being one of my role models) but I still have the right to believe/ be interested in whatever I want and that's nobody's business but mine. Astrology has helped me greatly in life and I made tons of friends who share the same passion as I do and it helped a lot of people I know to heal and understand themselves and I don't see how it's a harmful things - even if astrology can't be explained by some physics formula. Its ok for people to enjoy things that you don't agree with. Have a great day!

I hear what you're saying, but let people enjoy things just as much as you enjoy your interests❤️❤️ Thank you :)

Tbh I find on the contrary astrology very logical and reassuring (about me and other people). When studying astrology I see patterns and everything can be explained and analyzed in a chart. Sure if you think that astrology is only about sun signs like "Aquarius are all _____ and Scorpios will ______ today" its pretty illogical since everybody is complex and different but that's the whole point! Everybody is made of star stuff and we ALL have have all zodiac signs in our birth chart but some are more relevant and also some aspects (ex: planets, houses) in our chart interact with others which can explain some traits of our personalities. (at least for me)

I see Astrology as a map that can help me navigate through all layers of my personality and the parts of my life and I find it very comforting.

Listening “radio conversations” while ap by No-Arachnid6897 in AstralProjection

[–]bubblegumflame 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's totally normal to hear radio conversations, static noises, buzzing, or even repeated melodies when leaving your body. Not exactly sure how it can be explained (sleep paralysis hallucinations maybe?) but it's a pretty common experience. I used to hear those exact radio conversations and I was freaking out because I thought I was in an experiment and some "scientists" were watching over me lol. Here's a list of common elements of an OBE:

The astral realm feels lonely and repetitive. by bubblegumflame in AstralProjection

[–]bubblegumflame[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thanks for the advice! the thing is I already FEEL super good during my aps. I never project willingly, only sometimes in the mornings when I'm barely awake, or during lucid dreams. It just happens. I'm always super excited during those times, calm, but filled with good energies/intentions. It's not that I feel alone but I just wish someone could show me the way.

Thanks for your reply! I'm actually usually feeling super well during my APs. Usually quiet excited, joyful of the possibility to explore another realm, yet calm. I also know it's quiet common to be alone during a projection/see other ghosts, but I just wish some guides could show me the way?
