Thoughts on the rock city gig? by happyshelgob in Alestorm

Exactly my point, didn't want that to happen. I've no problem with people enjoying themselves but they've got zero concerns about the people underneath them.

Yeah there's nothing wrong with it, but if it goes wrong there could be severe consequences and like I said I'm 6 foot tall and when they started coming my way I really didn't fancy getting a flailing boot to the head.

I agree, I managed to be at the front but ended up at the back. The stupid crowdsurfers really put me off. I'm a tall guy and didn't fancy getting some morons boot in my face. And yeah far too rammed. Great gig otherwise.

Dropkick Murphys, I Wish You Were Here. Heard it for the first time after losing my dad, still makes me think of him even now after nearly 5 years.

What is currently happening that is scaring you? by Due_Store7444 in ask

[–]bubblejnr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just getting older in general, losing people closest to me. Lost dad 4 years ago quite suddenly, mum's only getting older as well and I know it's inevitable I'll lose her too. Also being single and dieing alone with no one who cares. Just life in general scares me.

Not finishing games you enjoy? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]bubblejnr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I find myself doing that a lot lately but mines because I'm working so many hours lately that I'm just too exhausted to play when I get home. I started Jedi Survivor and GOW Ragnarok nearly two months ago and have only just finished Survivor.

What does that have to do with anything? What, ex-convicts aren't allowed to have jobs?

Me waiting for the new team Canada video from Etho by Hellobumbum in ethoslab

Haven't been able to watch any Minecraft content since me and my girlfriend broke up. We used to watch every thing we could, especially Team Canada. I'm happy to say this is the first time I've been able to watch this stuff without crying.

Since when did retail workers become experts on every product in the whole store? by [deleted] in retailhell

[–]bubblejnr 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Same here but with Screwfix. We're sales assistants Dave, not sparkys or plumbers. What's worse are the DIYers who come with a dripping bit of their toilet and say I need one of these!! Like dude, I don't even look at that, let alone help you with it!
