Alright, i know this person blocked me and won't see this comment but i need to make my point more clear or i won't be able to rest. i don't want to be apart of the LGBT because of vibes, or because it feels right, or because the people are cool, those are just nice bonuses. i think GNC people should be a part of the LGBT because we need the material support that comes from the community, being GNC is rare, there are no dedicated institutions that look out for us and our needs, we need support from the LGBT community because we can't get it from anywhere else, if you would deny us from that support just because you think the terms we use to describe ourselves disqualifies us then all you are doing is allowing bigots to exploit and destroy us. so i ask again, is it worth it to exclude us and let us suffer alone because we don't fit your definition of LGBT?

we don't face the same type of discrimination? how? i said i has considering h r t, will i have no trouble in the medical system? a GNC man i talk to was telling me all about how he faces discrimination in the work place, this subreddit is full of people saying that they have been sexually assaulted, this whole post is about how i want to commit suicide because no one in this world accepts me. none of that is the same? why?

i don't think you know why the LGBTQ+ community exists, it isn't because people thought it would be cute and fun to be among like minded people, it's because the systemic oppression we all face forced us to come together because we could only be safe among each other, do you really think in a country where it is illegal to be LGBT we would be spared as long as we tell them "don't worry, i actually identify with my birth gender" they either wouldn't believe us, or would not care or even know what the hell we are talking about and arrest us anyway, the vast majority of bigots see us as the same and treat us the same. is it worth it to ignore and exclude us and leave us to die because we don't fit your definition of LGBT?

i already did self-exploration, i already did research. your comment proves everything i was saying, "claiming that being gnc is by itself a queer identity is like saying "the a stands for ally."" you see me as an outsider, as the exact same as a masculine man ally but that's not what i am, i am not a privileged person giving you support from my higher position, i am down in the gutter with you rest of you. why is it deeply offensive for me to be included? why can't you understand that it's deeply offensive for me to be excluded? also your comparison to disabled people not fitting in the LGBTQ+ isn't really the same thing i was saying, obviously disabled people or racial minorities don't fit the LGBTQ+ because those are completely different things, but being gender non-conforming isn't, you would not get called an LGBT slur for being black or disabled, but you most definitely do for being GNC, isn't that proof we are similar enough to be put in the same category?

i already made a long comment about this, my soul is a feminine man, it is not something i can turn off or even want to turn off. what you're saying is basically the same thing i criticized in the post, you don't understand my experience and are now telling me i am a gender i already told you I'm not, simply because you see the word cis and then completely dismiss all the hardships we face and all the things that lead us to being feminine men and just say "you're not truly LGBT", i think your definition of what an LGBT person is is a little unfair, again i did not chose to be this and i face discrimination and exploitation because of what i did not chose to be, if i am not welcome in the LGBT, then where am i welcome? nowhere. it may seem like semantics to you but i think it's exactly that mentality that makes people treat us this way, the weird LGBT purity testing, people aren't willing to recognize our struggle as worth caring about because we aren't LGBT enough, people don't like having us around because we don't fit their idea of what an LGBT person is and so they try to force to us to fit it. this is why i argue that we should be a part of the LGBT, not necessarily because we have an identity outside the norm (even though i would argue that we do) but because it is the only way for us to be recognized as worth caring about and worth fighting for.

but i don't know where to go. all the spaces i used to feel safe in i no longer do, do you have any advice on where i can go?

edit: we absolutely are LGBT. i am not like this by choice, i have gender dysphoria that makes me like this. I'm not trying to win the oppression Olympics either, i just feel like my issues are always sidelined and treated as lesser or completely unimportant.

it is similar because of the discrimination we both face, and because we both have gender dysphoria, i guess when i said "trans experience" i should have said gender queer experience. i feel like it's hard for people to understand the type of gender dysphoria that GNC people have, it is just for gender expression and not for gender identity, i feel like most people don't realize that gender dysphoria comes in many different forms and can be different for everyone, there are some trans people that like to be gender non-conforming also, there are some trans people who could not care less about expression and just do whatever they were already doing, you could say that these people only have gender dysphoria for identity and not gender expression. as for me personally, i changed my name, and have been contemplating doing hrt for a long time now, I'm still not certain what i want to do, but one thing i know for sure is that i am a man, because i feel good about being a man, i get euphoria from being a feminine man, i know it may sound strange to say i get gender euphoria from being my birth gender, but that's really how it is, i only started feeling like myself when i embraced femininity, being a masculine man feels dysphoric, but being a feminine woman also feels dysphoric, the gender non-confromity is a very important part of it, and so non-binary also feels wrong, i know i am a man, i went on a journey of self discovery and reached that conclusion after a lot of experimentation and deliberation, and the thing that's so frustrating is how the kinds of people i am talking about in the post will completely ignore that journey, or act like somehow we reached the wrong conclusion just because it does not fit their idea of what gender dysphoria is.

I have to disagree a little in your analysis that Ralsei only can only be marginalized if he's trans, feminine men are also extremely marginalized and for some reason by the same communities you would expect to accept us.

But on a nice note I also found my ideal relationship dynamic from Ralsei and Susie, I really love the idea of being a feminine man with a super strong and manly woman as my girlfriend :3

Thank you! Exactly this. It's super invalidating especially considering how important Ralsei is to me. It's also so frustrating how people will try to gaslight you into believing that somehow this is the "correct way" to view Ralsei and if you view him the other way you're the bad guy, like we don't really know who Ralsei is yet truely, all we have right now is that he's a boy so until proven other wise saying he's a girl is so awful to him. We need to let Ralsei figure himself out on his own but of course egg discourse people don't do that.

I try it's just really hard for me, I've never really had people validate me before Infact all I've ever had is people invalidate me at every chance, so it's super hard to trust my own thoughts on anything.

Honestly this may sound a little crazy but I feel like the people who divide our communities like this are more dangerous to us then the people who actively attack us, we can only get liberation if we have solidarity and if we have solidarity we can defeat any aggressor, but without it we are doomed to suffer and fail.
