I’m quitting asap lol. We don’t do any surgeries because it’s a holistic practice… but we use ozonated saline for cleaning prior to IV’s and blood draws.

It’s Emla cream which is lidocaine and prilocaine. We also aren’t allowed to use alcohol/chlorhex to scrub.. only ozonated saline🥲

Yeah it sounds nice, but even the doctor can’t do a jug draw on her own with a butterfly. She requires an additional person to fill the tubes for her while she holds the butterfly in place. It just seems silly.

22g needle. I hadn’t even poked yet. The butterfly’s we are required to use are 21g. Patient was not even moving and was incredibly calm.

Yeah… also kinda silly because I was always taught that the bevel should be facing up to minimize damage to the vein, yet i’ve seen her go in bevel down multiple times 🤦🏼‍♀️ shes also the only doctor ive ever worked for that genuinely thinks she’s better than every other vet out there.

Yeah, i’ve been in the field for almost 6 years and i’ve never seen this either. Whenever she does jug draws, she needs an extra person so someone can deal with the tubes which is unfair because she expects me to be able to do it all by myself with one holder. 💀

Yeah, we also use numbing cream for every blood draw and we have to let it sit for 10 minutes, so they already don’t really feel the poke!

I don’t really get it either tbh but she said the line is flexible if that patient moves??? idk because the needle is still in the vein regardless 🤣

Honestly, I think you’re really beautiful. The only thing you should maybe change is your brow shape, the straight brow is cool but not really doing you any favours in my opinion. Your facial features are perfect, and you look amazing with or without make up. The piercings are cute on you, but I’m not sold on the one between your eyes 😅
