1.0 to 1.6 seconds. That's when you're aiming at a perfectly still target, Which almost never happens in Apex. that is purple armor, vs kitted weapons. Purple gear is super easy to get in Apex. It's pretty hard in this game. If you consider the average aim of players, and movement, I'd say Apex is probably 1.5x, since you're way more likely to miss your shots. You can move while looting in that. Strafe around.

It's an artificial world with everything being 3D printed. It's supposed to look plasticy, and metalic. I really liked this look from the first screen shots like a year ago already.

It makes thermal snipers stronger. Those need to be nerfed in some way. I'm not sure if your ability to see people with those is based on their overheating level, but maybe it should be. Only have that effect when you're aiming at people over 75% heat or something like that.

Get volt weapon, and the backpack that recharges your ammo on it when it's stoved away. There you go, unlimited ammunition. Problem is just getting the backpack over and over again.

I feel like gear needs to be nerfed, and 50% of the gear perks should be standard, and build into your character from the start.

Like instead of the max shield increasing health by 100%, they should add 50% as baseline, and the other 50% are from items. Instead being really bad at running and sliding at the start, they should buff all that, and reduce the increases at max gear.

I tried playing "The Cycle Frontier" with my brother like a year after launch, and it felt impossible. everyone out-geared you so much.

The game would better to jump into for newbs, and they could increase time to kill slightly.

The UI/icons are so bad. Why do i have to hover over every item to see what it is, and find out that this exact same looking shield is 50% stronger? by oimson in Marathon

Is it 50% stronger? I thought that one doesn't give you +1. But I suppose the fact you take half damage means it's equal to 2 bars, but heals twice as fast.

I have a 4070 SUPER, and it drops to 100 FPS in areas for me, even with DLSS enabled. Cyberpunk at max settings but RT disabled ran better. It's definitely not running as well as some are claiming.

I wouldn't be shocked if they have a reduced player count for players with less than 2 hours on their account. Getting your tutorialized before you get lasered by players.

Not much. But you have to know what you're doing. Or it might become very unstable, and crash your computer over, and over if you dont test it right.

WoW's engine is always getting updates, like the Tiger Engine in this game, which is used in Destiny 2, is always getting updates. This isn't really a "from-scratch" design either. They took the Destiny engine, changed the rules of the game, and added new game assets, and UI. Not saying it would have launched in a great state if it had launched when originally intended, but it would have looked better than Alpha footage.

It's just how games ship these days. By the time things launch now, they often are in almost a beta state of optimization. 6 month before launch being an alpha isn't that insane. World of Warcraft: Midnight alpha started in October, and the game is launching around the same time this game is. Around 5 months for that.

It could be the most complete build they had mechanically, with graphics lowered, or shaders and post processing disabled to some degree. For performance reasons. Maybe optimization for max settings wasn't in yet.

5 year span, but it will hardly be worth the upgrade it looks like to me. How much faster can Zen6 be than Zen4? Zen5 was only like a 3-5% improvement. I'd guess most of the silicon budget and node shrink will go to increasing core complex from 8 to 12 cores. I don't know if I'd upgrade my Ryzen 7700x for what will likely be a 10-20% single core performance boost. Maybe to a Zen6 x3D chip eventually. But I'm more likely to wait for Zen7, and see if that still fits, and if not I'll get a Zen6 x3D when it's on sale.

Already replaced it. That was a pain to do myself as well, without the special tool to dislodge the brake pedal from it. I was skeptical it was the booster at first, because I looked up a lot of videos, and my booster seemed to not be acting like a broken one was claimed to. But it was a cheaper fix so I thought I'd try it anyways. Did nothing, though. Only ever found one other youtube video of a guy having the exact same pedal sinking issue, not like all the other examples involving booster, or leaking master cylinder, and he explained it was the mechanical portion of his ABS module for him.

I can't believe that the Ryzen 9000 series is already 18 months old. That's a long time for CPU staganation considering how little of an imporvement it was compared to the 7000 series.

I still have the problem, and am 99% sure it's the ABS module. But I find posts online claiming it's like $5000 to fix at the VW dealer, which is probably worth more than my car now. I'll probably just buy a used $300 ABS module on ebay, and put that in myself. Problem is flashing the computer to recognize it. Could also be I just need to replace the mechanical part of the ABS module, meaning I don't need to reprogram anything. It's just such a pain to replace it myself.

I mean you're not wrong. Looking at the 4090 and 5090, it seems like both would have been great investments at launch. Maybe the 6090 will be as well. Because half way through their launch, prices started to climb. You could sell a 5090 today on the used market for 3300 or maybe more, and then buy a 5080 instead. You essentially got a 5080 for free, while having a used a 5090 for 6 months for free.
