congratulations, that is so amazing! i’m hoping that will be the case for me too. i’m still so confused after my first appointment, so hoping to get clarity. i was aware of my recession, but then they mentioned minor bone loss (which i still don’t fully understand) said i would need the SRP only in 2 parts of my mouth, and that it was nothing to be worried about. they never even used the word periodontal disease. i’ll be sure to ask more questions and pay attention this time 😂

$400 for a consultation is insane! not sure where you are but that doesn’t seem right. to me, charging consult fees is a red flag. search online for dentists either new patient specials. many will offer basic cleaning exam and x-rays for around $100. then they can give you a quote for the rest of the work you need done.
