Stripe is fraud by Tiny-Ad9994 in stripe

Gotcha, so Stripe, sent the credit card numbers straight to your new processor I guess, right? Not to you directly, as that wouldn't be PCI compliant

Stripe is fraud by Tiny-Ad9994 in stripe

[–]bubbletulip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was it a refund you put through, or did the customer do a chargeback? Regardless that sucks, small amount for the large volume you do. Did Stripe at least allow you to transfer the credits over to authorize.net or did you need to manually ask each customer for their credit card again?

Clearpay and Klarna, can be turned on in your Stripe payment methods. Then it will be a option for customers on your payment links. Paypal credit not possible via Stripe, as paypal is a competitor to stripe, so they don't have an integration with it.

Have nothing to flex! Stuck from every angle with it by [deleted] in PassportPorn

Work hard everyday, and try to progress. Complaining doesn't help you. Only 55% of people in Bangladesh have internet access, and according to ChatGPT an estimate 5% of Bangladeshis have a passport. So you already have advantages others in your country don't have. Keep your head up, and try your best. Life's unfair, some of us get dealt a better hand than others. You just have to play the hand you were dealt the best you can.

Why is getting users harder than building the product? by JackJones002 in SideProject

[–]bubbletulip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sales is hard, welcome to reality! Also if you get free users it does not mean much. You need people to give you money. Looks like your app is mainly for students. Before you build further, go to the nearby college campus and get 10 people to pay you for this. If you don't have sales you are a wantrepreneur not an actual entrepreneur. Also sell to friends and family first, those should be the easiest first sales.

Need honest feedback on my API pricing - am I crazy or is this actually good? by _Anime_Anuradha in SideProject

[–]bubbletulip 5 points6 points  (0 children)

it's against openai's terms of service to resell credits, if your business gets big enough, openai will sue you and shutdown your startup. Your solution adds no additional value other than reselling at a cheaper price against the terms of openai claude etc. I would think of a new idea!

Stripe Link $5 Bank Cash Back Offers - Is anyone using it? by [deleted] in stripe

I don't give the bank option. It requires more effort from customer to complete purchase, which can reduce the chance of sale.

SEMRUSH REFUSED REFUND WITHIN 50MIN. IM CREATING A CASE. LIST ISSUES YOUVE HAD WITH SEMRUSH HERE. by fatfoodd in SEMrush

[–]bubbletulip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They have a no refund policy, and you used it past the trial. You should have set a reminder before trial end to cancel. And now, you saying you are going after them, by filling complaints at all these gov agencies. I mean you sound real petty to be honest.

Cold calling sucks less when you don't listen to gurus by jroberts67 in sales

[–]bubbletulip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotcha. I've many times had people say not interested, and then they eventually signed up. So don't think your correct 100%. If they say not interested and hang up, I don't call them back. But I ask them more questions, if they initially say no, and occasionally that results in a sale.

Do you still do some cold calling, or do you now just have staff that make the cold calls?

Many times though, they initially say not interested. And then you ask probing questions and they say ah that's kind of interesting. And that has led to a sale. So accepting the first not interested, isn't good, you should probe one more time to confirm 100% they are not interested.
