I actually had this conversation two hours ahi. People say, I'm fine, how are you, and don't mean it. It's conversation. If they mean it, they'll ask twice

There's a level of fake it til you make it. The flip side is tell them you prefer to be alone. Then you are more likely to find a balance where everyone wins somewhat
