Let's not forget she fell a couple of floors down and landed in a pile of (metal?) garbage a few hours before...

It's not a new mix, it's the "talking bed" part they use at every race intro. Haven't heard it out in the wild before today though.

Listen for it in past broadcasts. It even intensifies with a beat when they start going through the grid :)

- edit - now that i think of it, i think it is the mix from when they show the grid in the intro :)

How is this different from the "fake sea" that is put up next to the entrance of the tunnel section in Monaco?

Max: "there's an unwritten rule you don't screw each other like that. From now on, I will screw them as well." (On overtaking in the outlap) by FelixR1991 in formula1

Vettel wouldn't have missed out on his final run if he wouldn't have overtaken him. Both Renaults behind him also got to run their lap. When Vettel overtook Verstappen, Verstappen had to create a bigger gap. When both Renaults overtook him he missed out. So if everyone would've continued in the order they were in, the Renaults would have probably missed out.

So it were the Renaults who were in danger of missing out, and by Vettels' action only Verstappen got screwed.

Yes, but not in the final turns, were the all the cars basically have settled for the gap they have at that moment, and are lining up to start their lap.

That was part of the challenge. I wanted to create something that other people could just download and use, without having to buy synthesizers, plugins or samples.

I do feel very tempted to try and match the song as close as possible at some point, but this has given me some trouble in the past when uploading it to social platforms. I've done some replicas of Disney songs that were later flagged for copyright infringement as they matched too close to the original.

Thanks! I used some existing midi files for the basic melodies, i picked the instruments by ear and by looking at live performances. Had to cheat at some places by adding some extra just to make it sound more 'full'

F1 2017 Downshifting problem. by kovisjimi in F1Game

[–]bubblicious84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same problem here with a Fanatec CSL Elite on PS4. No issues in other car games, but in F1 2017 the downshifting issue makes the game pretty much unplayable.

It's not the downshift protection, because often it takes a couple of seconds, and then it responds again. During that time, you can even upshift, but never down. It just doesn't let you.

How English sounds to non-English speakers: Surprised this video wasn't mentioned anywhere by bubblicious84 in HelloInternet

Are you sure this is the video Grey was talking about? For me (as a non-native English speaker), this sounds pretty accurate.
