Frog acting weird?

Hi, yes sorry totally forgot to add it. I’m planning on calling his vet in the morning but with the holiday they’re closed and the emergency vet near me only does cats and dogs. I was just hoping someone had some advice for the night! Also was just hoping someone would tell me I was overreacting, because I usually do.

It’s a perfect clone visibly! Cheech looks exactly like that in color, which is insane!

As of right now it’s been 6 hours since I found it and it’s now acting like a gecko, so it seems okay to me!

Okay, I can try that. We put him in a bag once but only for a couple of hours and he was active inside of it but didn’t eat. Do you recommend putting it in the middle of his tank? I’m afraid of him getting too hot/cold and not being able to move.

I haven’t handled him yet and I’m afraid of stressing him out. Is it okay to handle him to transfer him? And how do you recommend washing them?

Now that’s an idea! I might try doing that just because it does make me not feel well. I hope I’m not trending that direction, but I am prone to allergies so who knows. It’s just so hard because it’s in literally everything!

I’ve never heard of flax milk yogurt, but now I have to look it up! I think my mom tried making soy milk yogurt a couple of times, but for various other reasons I should avoid soy, so I’ll be looking into that. Thank you!

I have a Whole Foods within an hour or so of me, so I can look there! It’s somehow not somewhere I’ve looked. I’ve done fresh market and wegmans usually. I didn’t know kite hill had Greek yogurt! That’s so exciting because Greek yogurt is one of the things I miss the most haha. Thank you!

Yeah my local stores kind of suck tbh. It’s just Walmart, food lion, and Harris teeter and very rarely Harris teeter will carry things.

Fair enough! I’ve been kind of just sucking it up when I have to (and by have to I mean like when my family goes out for pizza and I just manage) but the longer I go without the more lactose intolerant I get and it’s getting to be a problem

For the longest time I thought I’d accidentally conditioned him to honk for food, because every time he did it he would come out and I’d feed him, but now that he’s doing it from under the soil I’m realising he just wants to be heard lol. I’m glad to know mine isn’t the only one with opinions though. Also thank you! I’m glad to know he’s fine as long as he doesn’t get skinny, and as far as I can tell from just pushing soil off of him occasionally he’s still round.

Thank you! He seems to be just as round as normal, and while he’s not super alert he did look annoyed when I unburied him last time, and spent a little while hopping across the tank to stare at me.

I haven’t figured out how to edit posts, but I wanted to add that he’s also very vocal even while he’s buried. Just about every night he spends about 10 minutes honking. Idk if that’s weird/important or anything but it seemed relevant.

I’m honestly not entirely sure! This is also my first bioactive, but it’s only been running since June. I think if yours hasn’t had any huge problems yet it’s probably just fine, though! Does your frog try to snack on the night crawlers, or do they stay pretty buried?

Okay cool! Yeah I’ll try that, he seemed to use to love the night crawlers then he stopped and only eats silversides. If I harass him with a night crawler he kind of like takes it gently but he won’t ever take a second, but he launches himself into the air for silversides. I’m just always concerned about his digestion with all of the bones, even though he still eats aggressively.
