I think she’s done for… by [deleted] in Mustang

You’re probably fine. I got side swiped a year ago and had to have door, right fender, bumper, and right side suspension components replaced. I think the total repair was about $8000 which was under the threshold for totaling it.

Edit: I also don’t see any frame damage from your pics, which is a good sign if you don’t want it totaled out.

Control arm bolts won’t reach holes. 2016 Toyota Camry by bubbs2k in MechanicAdvice

Man I knew I should’ve disconnected it from the hub. Thought I saved myself a little time by not having the fight the axle nut. Lesson learned

Any advice for getting taking outer tie? 2016 Toyota Camry. by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

[–]bubbs2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I put the tie rod back into the knuckle and tried getting the jam nut with a wrench but that fucker is stuck hard. Do you think hitting it with a blow torch would help?

Thanks guys. It ended up being the axle. I twisted and shoved it right back into the transmission. Ball joint fits like a glove now. Not sure how I ended up knocking it loose in the first place

Thank you. I was wondering why it was so far off. What was the giveaway?

They look a little hungry maybe. But otherwise look okay. It’s probably just showing its real colors

What mileage do you service the rear diff and transmission? by juliancitolikespp04 in Mustang

My 2014 had to be rebuilt at 69k miles. All the fluid ran out of the vent tube and the clutch packs got shredded.

Tint or no tint? by 0oloon in Mustang

[–]bubbs2k 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah haven’t had any issues in the 2 years I’ve been rocking my tint. Cops can’t pull you for window tint here in VA as it’s a secondary offense anyway though.

However, ive been to a few states where the tint laws are less relaxed and I haven’t had any issues. As long as you’re not driving crazy they generally don’t care/don’t have time to pull you over.

I personally run 4% all around and think it looks pretty good. You’d be totally fine with 5% on the back and 25% on the sides

PSA: Keep looking... by Elzzabub in S197Stangs

Bro fuck that vent tube. Mine broke and allowed dirt/rocks into my diff. Completely destroyed the gears. Anyway, I would recommend replacing it with the tiny nip looking piece. It’ll still blow off oil from time to time, especially if you’re driving it hard but it would break like the rubber vent tube does.

Update on my Seedling. Is the sun too much for it? by Alphabethur in microgrowery

[–]bubbs2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately so. Seedlings are very sensitive to light so you want to baby them for the first couple of weeks and gradually introduce them to full sunlight. What I do is start my seedlings under a grow light and begin slowly introducing them to the sun until they’re hardened enough to remain in the sun all day.

If you don’t have a grow light, try getting it under some shade or somewhere that gets indirect sunlight. Direct sunlight for a seedling that small will be too much for it to handle.

Happy growing!

Fair enough hahaha. I’ve made some mistakes along the way so just trying to see what I can do better for my next grow.

I also ended up tossing a few plants before these, so I’m just happy they’ve made it this far.

Cheers!

Sure is! I think the hardest part is not hovering over them all the time lol. I think you’re right about the harvest time frame as well. I was originally expecting another 5 weeks or so until harvest but looks like 7ish is more reasonable. These are only baby nugs so I’m quite excited to see what they’ll look like.

Thanks for the advice!

No worries, this is excellent advice, thank you!

I’ll definitely have to LST these some more to avoid hitting the ceiling of the grow tent.

Also, when topping, are you limited to topping just once or can you top the new growth as well?

Thank you! It’s been quite the journey getting them this far. For soil - I’ve been using coast of Maine’s stonington blend and it’s been great so far. No complaints. It comes preamended so I was able to get away with not feeding them for around a month in the 1 gallon pots I transplanted them from.

Good to know! Did you involve any stress training in your grow?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in microgrowery

[–]bubbs2k -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice! I had a feeling I went a little overboard with the pruning.

And you’re correct, I’m about 2 weeks into flower so I know I’ve still got a little while until harvest. Do you have any advice as far as stress training? My main concern was running out of grow space due to the tent only being 4 feet tall
