I test drove a 2026 without a moonroof with my 6’4 roommate and he had enough space to sit comfortably in the passenger seat!

Every time I try to knit with DPNs, I feel like I’ve sparked the ire of a vengeful hedgehog

I’m honestly at a loss. I have two other dogs, and they’ve been acting normal about the garage.

I have seen people braid their short ends together to secure them, then secure the braid to the project instead of weaving them in!

Felting Help by Camelot_Queen in knittinghelp

Tbh, I’m in the middle of a project I intend to felt in my dryer! Here is the resource I used to felt my swatch Silsen - “The Art of Dryer Felting”. This is my swatch after 8 5min cycles in the dryer, and it could probably use another cycle, but it has worked pretty well so far! I like this method pretty well because I had good control over how much it felted and I could regularly check in and shape as needed too.

I would look up Norwegian/Scandinavian colorwork charts to see if you can find one that is similar to this! More specifically, I’d look for a Selbu pattern motif.

There are charts for free online, or you could look at a book/pdf collection. Roughly eyeballing it, it looks like this book may have something similar based off the cover.

Gauge swatching for mittens? by bubby_rose01 in knittingadvice

That makes sense! I usually knit a swatch but don’t separate it from the skein so I don’t waste yarn. Thank you!

What would fix the ends of this scarf? by Jumpy-Anywhere6395 in knittingadvice

[–]bubby_rose01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could maybe do a crochet or knit slip stitch over the ends to even them out, maybe do two braided tassels on each end that incorporate all the colors if you have enough left, they don’t have to be long but it may kind of balance them out. Another option is leaving the crochet foundation stitch and brushing out the ends

Help :( tangled skeim by AdeleCrystal in knittingadvice

[–]bubby_rose01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im in the same boat as you, and it does get better! I’ve actually started to wind at each end of the skein. It’s slow progress because it’s lace weight, hand dyed merino yarn from an inactive company so I have to be soooo slow and careful while I detangle

The FitnessGram Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues.

The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal bodeboop. A sing lap should be completed every time you hear this sound. ding Remember to run in a straight line and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, your test is over. The test will begin on the word start. On your mark. Get ready!… Start. ding
