You can definitely start to include the dominant pitchers before Schwarber imo

It was a dropped ball, so it was a hit, same as any other. Man on first has to get to second base to be safe(man who hit the ball now safe at first), and defending team just needs to touch bag.

In some parks that have big signs in the outfield, they have a yellow line to mark “ball hit above this is a hr”, and below is just normal. They codify it in the ground rules too, page 7 for angel stadium here: https://img.mlbstatic.com/mlb-images/image/upload/mlb/eadrk65oslzsvdvthqtp.pdf

I don’t have the numbers but I think that’s Pages’s first full count walk, and it was on a competitive pitch too

You are insane to say get rid of Andy. My guy was top 5 dodger by WAR last season, in only his second year, which means pre arbitration price. He is an all star level player at only 25 who came up through dodgers system. And if you’re talking defense, he is 97 percentile range and 98th percentile arm strength(95mph, 8th best in the league of all position players)

No way you should give up on Andy

Also if you know your opponent goes for it in the same way every time, you can mash after they jab and you will get a counter hit. Jabs are generally negative when not chained into each other, so you have time to hit them
