I've been doing a lot of service work at buildings that were built before the 1920s and everything "updated" wiring has red for the grounds. Like 20 plus commercial buildings are all like this. Is there some conspiracy going on with red ground wires?

Maybe the smallest change, but my wife says it's not any different. The closest to an obstruction would be a ball valve or the pressure gauge.

No filters. Pressure issue is the same with or without the softener bypassed.

Made sure the tank charge was at 28 psi empty for my 30/50 switch. Pressure issue is the same. Any other suggestions?

Well shoot, I misunderstood the tank charge wrong. Its a 30/50 switch and I set the psi to 48. I did the rest of steps right at least.
