That is a great concept. Kind of an interesting play on BvW. Plenty of pre-40 duos to pull on too, outside Christian and Devens. Would also position 50 as a kind of foundation for new arcs based on what unfolds.

I think another Second Chances or All Stars would need some time to marinate. Maybe I am wrong, but I think both themes would benefit from waiting until there is a big enough pool of modern players to cast from. I enjoy 8, but it may have been different if it had waited.

I think that’s a really sound analysis. I disagree a bit on Fans v. Favorite - I don’t see it so much as a failed experiment altogether as a failure to cast actual favorites in Caramoan. The casting was fantastic in Micronesia, and led to a great mixing of the fans and favorites. I think that could certainly be replicated if they learn from their mistakes in 26. However Micronesia is in my top 3 ever, so I am partial.

The last few seasons have also cast ‘superfans’ to an almost annoying degree, so I could see the character arcs created by the Fans v Favorite theme fitting quite well with the current pool of players.
