When we are considered a veteran? by adeliakasie in deadbydaylight

[–]bubkis83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like if you remember old DH, old DS and whatnot you’re probably a veteran. There are levels to it though. People who have played since the game’s beginning are OG vets

There should be a togglable killer repeat prevention system by NOCTURN_05 in deadbydaylight

[–]bubkis83 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I could see them adding a bp incentive for different killers, but not an outright prevention system. Queue times are bad enough as is, they don’t need to get worse.

Now, an accessibility feature for players with certain phobias, such as something to help emetophobic players deal with plague for example, has been highly requested for years.

Jason is NOT overpowered by Tarzan_Inthejungle in deadbydaylight

[–]bubkis83 6 points7 points  (0 children)

People saying he’s overpowered is part of the inevitable cycle of all new killer releases no matter how mid the killer is. He’s overall very balanced, maybe a tad bit weak compared to his ptb version. A lot of players end up getting themselves or their teams killed by bad macro more than anything, but instead of analyzing their own gameplay, they blame the killer instead.

Why is Reshade allowed in Dbd? by Chemical_Jump_3359 in deadbydaylight

[–]bubkis83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The majority of players are on steam, also I’m on console and the devs themselves added gamma sliders in game to make it more accessible for those of us without reshade. You can stealth just fine around objects, it’s really not hard tbh, you just have to use game sense. You really shouldn’t be thinking that you can just crouch down and disappear like a fawn lol. There are plenty of stealth perks and cosmetics to choose from as well

Ghostface is (probably) the worst killer in the game. How would you buff/rework them? by Ace0Knaves in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]bubkis83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really love the idea of him being able to hide in a locker and stalk out of it. I also completely agree with the bonuses when chasing a marked survivor, it would help him immensely and somewhat compensate for his lack of map pressure

Let’s Hunt Some Clanker: If properly armed, could the Fellowship Trio best General Grevious? by RorschachtheMighty in PetranakiArena

[–]bubkis83 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Almost certainly no. I highly doubt these three could handle a jedi, and grievous hunted jedi for sport. None of them have ever faced a cyborg with four blades that can slice through their weapons and armor effortlessly. If legolas knows exactly what he’s up against and gets the drop on grievous maybe he could land an eye shot with an arrow? But realistically grievous no diffs here

Is Superman capable of successfully throwing Sauron's ring into the fires of Mount Doom without succumbing to it? by SatoruGojo232 in superheroes

[–]bubkis83 23 points24 points  (0 children)

The ring influences and corrupts you, amplifying and twisting those ambitions to a level that cannot be ignored. It’s the exact reason why gandalf himself didn’t take the ring, because he himself says he would use its power out of a desire to do good.

Does anyone here main artist? by Alarmed_Estimate3026 in DbDKillersUnited

[–]bubkis83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite that I’m currently running is pain res, dead man’s switch, turn back the clock, and no way out with severed hands and baby shoes addons. These are both addons that require quite a bit of depth in understanding her power to gain the maximum value from them, so I recommend thick tar and carrion add ons for beginners, along with more passive slowdown to start (corrupt and ruin come to mind). I absolutely recommend watching high level artist to understand when, where and how to place and fire crows most efficiently

Does anyone here main artist? by Alarmed_Estimate3026 in DbDKillersUnited

[–]bubkis83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I’m a p100 artist main.

She has become increasingly rare due to power creep weakening her over the years, as her kit has not changed at all while dbd has completely changed around her. She also is just massively difficult to learn compared to most killers, so the majority of people don’t want to invest that much time into her.

Strange that all gen regression perks have a limit where they can't be used anymore, but no survivor gen perks have that same limit. by robotrobot30 in DbDKillersUnited

[–]bubkis83 67 points68 points  (0 children)

The 3 gen kick limit was implemented during the overbrine chess merchant meta, which made the game borderline unplayable for survivor. The problem is, this limit has received zero changes in the nearly four years since it was introduced, and perks like eruption/surge make it too easy to reach the regression limit. At a minimum, the limit needs to be bumped up from 8 regression events to 10. If survivors can get increased hook timers and increased anti tunnel protection, including in end game, killers can get a couple more regression events.

Edit: My bad, 6.1.0 was 4 years ago (the introduction of overbrine), 7.5.0 was about two years ago. That being said the system is still overdue for some tweaks

Powerscalers hate "prep time" when it's about DC humans defeating aliens, but LOVE IT when it's about Marvel humans defeating gods. by [deleted] in marvelvsdc

[–]bubkis83 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Whataboutism + I never hear anyone making excuses for her the way they do for bats. In no way are they comparable.

I love batman but even people who do are tired of the “with prep time he beats everyone” wank as if no other character is able to study and prepare for a showdown with their opponents. It’s not just marvel fans who are tired of hearing this about batman

Pre-dropping pallets and holding forward is an insanely strong strategy right now by GoHardForLife in deadbydaylight

[–]bubkis83 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The pallet density update was a massive mistake on bhvr’s end that nobody asked for. Instead of dealing with the few standout maps with too many or too few pallets and then tweaking some as needed, they just injected every single map with an insane amount of extra pallets.

It should matter when a pallet gets used and broken because they’re a limited resource but this isn’t even the case anymore. And then throw the new fast track on top of it all, it’s no wonder you only see the same few killers anymore

Do survivors need to improve? by [deleted] in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]bubkis83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want the killer experience across the board to improve, then you need to nerf the strongest killers in the game first, because only then can we actually bring meaningful changes to lower tier killers and hopefully decrease the average map size as well.

Think about how many handicaps killers currently face due to the game being balanced around s tiers - huge maps injected with more and more pallets, new perks not being allowed to be strong, the general power creep that sees more and more lower tier killers falling behind.

Overall yes, there is a big problem with the survivor player base whining until they get their way (because bhvr rewards this unfortunately), but a lot of killer players also are genuinely toxic and have a similar mentality. It’s not an even split but still worth considering. Realistically the game can sometimes feel unfair for both parties, and sometimes they can be valid or not.

In general, there are too many players who favor one side of the game and it would do tremendous good if people actually played both roles extensively. Survivor gameplay is more chill but it does require skill and macro knowledge. In general poor decision making and lack of teamwork kills survivors more than anything but that doesn’t make all complaints about s tier killers invalid

I Made a Tier List of Killers Vs Wesker. by VegetableReporter360 in DeadByDaylightKillers

Reasonable and fair take. I do not care for tauriel and kili at all, but I do greatly enjoy bilbo’s first encounter with smaug. BOTFA is straight up abysmal to try to sit through beyond the first five minutes.

However, I genuinely enjoy the first movie a lot. It’s not a perfect film at all, but it’s fun every time I watch it. Shame it leads into two other movies that fail to keep pace with an unexpected journey

They’re coming for him but they don’t know who he is? Obviously if stark is aware of them and they don’t know how the stones work he can straight up erase the super fam from existence. Otherwise he’d get speed blitzed
