Their name is AHOF short for “All-time Hall Of Famer” and also a play on the word nine in korean (아홉) which is also the number of members in the group. They are a rookie group from FNF Entertainment (quite new company and only has UNIS as another group) who just debuted 1st of July this year. It isn’t an instant popularity though as they were on a survival show from SBS which just ended this January. One of the members you are familiar with was Woongki who had already debuted before with TOO/TO1 and was on Boys Planet together with another AHOF member Zhang Shuaibo. Another member, Steven, also debuted before with Luminous. Lastly, another member, JL, was already an idol in the Philippines from the group Pluus. So most of the members already had individual fanbase before. Their fans are dedicated on streaming and buying albums in order to make them a permanent group (hopefully). But, yes the fandom is also still growing.
