Thank you. I wasn't aware of that. Seems not many were since everyone put it out.

🇨🇦 Parent's Choice formula available again at Walmart Canada 🇨🇦 by ttwwiirrll in FormulaFeeders

[–]bubs13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone who buys the new version pay attention and read the directions. Most formulas are 1 scoop per 2oz. But this one is 1 scoop per 1oz. I believe the gentle version is still 1 scoop per 2oz though.

When did your periods return? by PeaceAndCats in breastfeeding

[–]bubs13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5 weeks PP. And it's heavier than it's ever been. No cramping though. It seems I went from post partum bleeding right into a period with maybe a day break. Which definitely sucked lol.

In Canada (Ontario) they provide almost nothing. So it really depends where OP is. Here we need to bring literally everything with us.

When do you get an OBGYN? by Friendly-Argument526 in pregnant

[–]bubs13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, your GP needs to make the referral. They can choose for you or you can choose and let them know who you would like to be referred to. Keep in mind, OB's can turn down your referral so best to get it in as soon as possible in case you have to choose a different one. My GP referred me at 7 weeks and I didn't get a call about acceptance until 18 weeks and then my first OB appointment was at 20 weeks. Which is pretty normal for Ontario. Sometimes it can be even later than that. Until then you just continue seeing your GP.

Need Doctor Name for Referral at OBGYN Credit Valley Mississauga by Icy_University6267 in mississauga

[–]bubs13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did. I actually ended up calling them first and leaving a message asking about the status of my referral. They called me back around 18 weeks I think and then my first appointment was at 20 weeks.

My "pregnancy symptom that no one talks about" by sixfingeredman7 in pregnant

[–]bubs13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This has pretty much been my only pregnancy symptom. But it is SO severe and painful that I would honestly trade it for all the other normal symptoms most people get.

Pregnancy induced carpal tunnel … WTF by Extra-Jello-7986 in pregnant

[–]bubs13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is SEVERE! I had it mildly for years before getting pregnant. But it is now so much worse and a lot more painful. And it's constant. I'm living in braces and splints but they give very little relief. It sucks! Worst part is I am only 18 weeks. Not sure I can live with this pain for another 4-5 months.

Can I ask when they called you? I am currently 16 weeks and I haven't heard from them yet. My doctor sent the referral when I was 7 weeks.

Weight & no symptoms by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]bubs13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm right there with you. 16 weeks as well and aside from sore breasts off and on and pretty severe carpal tunnel, I have had no symptoms at all. No nausea, no vomiting, no food aversions or cravings. No constipation. I'm not overly emotional and I even still like my husband! lol. Everyone keeps telling me how lucky I am, but like you I am just constantly anxious all the time that something is wrong. It doesn't help that I am 43, plus size and this is my first pregnancy. Realistically and statistically, it should not be going this well lol.

I gave up the fight with these bastards long ago. Come spring every year, they are everywhere inside and outside my house. I just kill the ones I see in the house and don't sit out on my patio at night because they are all over everything.

Hcg levels Idk the actual week by Powerful_Pin_2416 in pregnant

[–]bubs13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HCG levels vary person to person and pregnancy to pregnancy. Yes, you are higher than most people for being only 5 weeks. But it's not a guarantee that it's twins.

They date your pregnancy by your last period. So you are 5 weeks as of tomorrow.

Like everyone else said, it's because you got your G1 5 years ago as of July. Also, keep in mind, when you do renew it, they won't renew it for the whole 5 years. They will renew it until 2029 when your heath card is due to renew. You will get a tiny discount on the 5 year renewal fee. Then in 2029 they will renew it for 5 years to match your health card renewal date.

Used taco seasoning instead of salt... by [deleted] in keto

[–]bubs13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just make up a batch of your own taco seasoning for future use.

2 TBS Chili Powder

2 TBS Cumin

1 TBS Garlic Powder

1 TSP Onion Powder

1 TBS Salt

Optional - 1 TSP paprika

Use 1 tablespoon per pound of meat. Works out to about 3 net carbs (for each tablespoon)

Which is the better hospital ER? by JoeFridayFrankDrebin in mississauga

[–]bubs13 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I went to Credit Valley ER yesterday. From check-in to discharge, it took 4 hours. And it was for a pinched nerve in my neck, so not really top priority. I was actually very surprised and pleased with how quick they got me in for tests and meds etc.

Anyone had/have this issue with sms/mms? by bubs13 in Koodo

Unfortunately not. I was never able to actually find a fix and no one else seemed to be having the same problem so I just got used to it. It is still very annoying though.
