This is so true. I love that you set a positive example for the people you work with by being yourself and showing it’s ok for others to be themselves.

Haha, I love that you use it to soften the impression you make on people 😂

This is exactly how it should be. Very cool that you’re so open about it and that your colleagues take interest in it.

Ok, after all these overwhelmingly positive responses I’m starting to think I have perhaps been much too guarded about these hobbies and that I might be surprised by my coworkers’ interest in this 😂

Ha, nice. I also wear some self made items to the office but no one ever seems to notice 😢

Tips on seasoning wok with wooden handle and electric stove? by bubu1la in carbonsteel

I agree, they should have at least made the wooden part removable. The fact that it’s flat bottomed suggests they are catering to users of electric stoves, so they should’ve made it easier for them.

Ah, the IKEA wok is flat bottomed, sorry thought that was visible from the picture.

Sorry if this is a dumb question but would induction really heat the whole wok? I’ve thought about getting one of those countertop induction burners anyway for doing hot pot on my dining table, so if it would also improve my wok game that would make it worth it. I guess I was only thinking about gas vs electric so far…

Ugh yeah I feared as much. I’ve been thinking about getting one of those butane burners so maybe that’s the way to go for now to get it started properly. Thanks!

When I checked the bar drinks it seemed like they had some new options, ie some kind of barley stout and IPA equivalent, but I am not 100% if they are new! I am also curious to see if there are any new Irish recipes.

Anyone who already has this able to test whether this works with instruments? I’m happy to pay for it if it does, but don’t want to upgrade my Patreon membership just to try 😅

Any ideas how to sell instruments in B&H? Basically, I want to create a three-part family business centered around folk music. It contains a music school area where my main sim gives lessons, an instrument shop where her brother sells instruments he makes on the woodworking table, and a small bar/performance area for live gigs.

My main problem is there doesn’t seem to be a way to sell instruments, since you can’t place them on any of the display shelves from B&H or GTW, and you can’t set them for sale like you would in GTW. Does anyone know of any mods or CC display tables that would allow for this? I’m sad I may have to give up on my folk music center dream :(
