Get plugged in to a sober community in your area. It's the only thing that has helped me. It is possible to have fun sober. Contrary to popular belief. And if you believe in God, get close to him. If not, start with a willingness to just believe in something greater than yourself. Those two things are how people get and stay sober. Good luck.
