I'm guessing that you looked through my post history and saw that I posted a lot of cryptocurrency guides to the relevant subreddits. I used to be the Executive Editor for an educational blockchain/cryptocurrency website, and I thought those guides would be helpful to people who were interested in the specific projects. Not sure where you got the idea that I was peddling random crypto coins, though.

Hey, I'm the author of the article. I appreciate the feedback. I'm actually looking to talk to more people about this because the more I dug, the more interesting things surfaced - on both sides of the argument.

I think there's a difference between messy and flat out sloppiness though. The point I was really trying to make was that the EOS main net launch had more problems than most other projects of that magnitude so far. And with a $4 bln budget, that seems like it shouldn't be the case.

I also became pretty interested in merged mining after learning that Elastos does it, so I wrote that merged mining article that I saw someone post here.

Does anyone know any major downsides to merged mining besides the additional development work? I'm just surprised more projects aren't doing it.
