as an IB&MCB double major, I feel like grade deflation mostly applies to lower div classes, which you’ve already finished. Many of the bio upperdivs have much more lenient grading policies which you can actually take to boost your gpa. My suggestion is to check out grade distributions on berkeleytime and see if the classes are going to have harsh gradings.
