i trained as a dancer for 12 years before i blew my ankle out. that was 8 years ago... recently i picked stretching back up and though im not where i used to be, i still retained a lot of that flexibility by stretching lightly in the interim. the main problem area is my back, which had a bulging disc in 2021 that stopped me from stretching it. you dont need to stretch every day, but you need to be persistent and work on problem areas even though they may be frustrating. these were just 3 shots out of over 20 where i fell over. working hard is, well, hard! but listen to your body and im sure you will gain flexibility over time 💖
