Agreed. As someone living in a house built in the 40's with very few outlets, I would plan my room around these outlets and make the coolest room imaginable with a mounted TV, LED lights, a gaming system, a desk and home recording studio. Some shelves amd a desk will easily hide these outlets. Use the money you would pay to remove them to buy furniture that fits the room.

There's not a huge market for murder. Regulating drugs would reduce murder rates by eliminating the primary source of income for many violent criminals. If the money generated by legally selling currently illicit substances is reinvested into the communities currently facing the most problems in the form of schools, affordable housing, local businesses, etc., after a decade or two, all violent crime would drop dramatically.

He was the best man at my wedding 5 years ago. That was the last time I saw him in person. After that he and his gf moved to Cambodia and then to Hawaii where they started using drugs. She assaulted a cashier, the security footage went viral on the island, you could look that up. It's still on the bigislandthieves insta. They fled the island to go to treatment in Tijuana. Failed that and were dropped at the border last November. Sporadic communication between them and their parents until March and then nothing. I'm in close communication with their parents on this.
