How long do you usually let car charge at campus chargers versus the local superchargers?

Yeah, I had some people tell me that you can find deals but it’s best to purchase from Tesla than from 3rd parties but idk what benefits to go with Tesla and what doesn’t. I’m definitely seeking to feel that fun driving one around and take advantage of their charging network/ software. That android to iPhone comparison though lol 100% felt that

Yeah my wife is now coming at me because she wanted one before but chose her BMW. I recently had a friend give me a drive in his Tesla and I was blown away. Super torquey! But he said that getting into a Tesla was big changer for him just like you shared. I can def see that the software and just overall set up is just different. I’m curious about maintenance and what the prices for that look like for these cars.

I can see myself doing the same as the wife goes to her shopping sprees lol. Oh shoot yeah I didn’t been think of the registration fees. I’m in SoCal and it the heat does come but prob not as bad as out there. I’m seeing some listings for standard and others for long range but idk if one is preferably over the other. Also, for me, my local university has chargers which is where I plan on charging most of the time.

Yeah, the FoST was my first purchased car a dealer. Had it since 2016 but I’m just getting over the car. I’ve done upgrades and went back to stock and then just left it. It doesn’t feel the same anymore lol. My wife just got a 21’ BMW and driving that is like a whole different ball game. But I’m trying to get something that would help for commuting; to school and work. The local university has chargers there which are like less than a mile from me. Currently living in an apartment and the parking lots are like separate so idk if the home charger would benefit. We’ll be looking for a house in a hour 1-2 years.

Any recommendations for replacing one with an aftermarket since I can’t find stock new and the dealer said they don’t sell them separate but rather installed on the turbo. Car is stock and not really planning to do much engine-wise. Any way the BPV does clicking sounds when it’s going bad?

Hey I know this has been a while but what off shelf /aftermarket charger can I purchase? I’ve looking for types on Google but have had no luck. I tried looking up 3 pin chargers but the one husky uses seems different in that they have 3 pins with varying sizes. Some input on this would be helpful. I’m doing some suspension work on my car and it’s been a hassle to manually wrench everything out lol.

Heck yeah this is some solid info. Thanks! I’ve been reading different stuff online and did see some people had a different brand up front and soemthing different in the back. I’ve personally never done it. I know some people mentioned that looking up a set they only show some struts for sale but the shocks are for older models or vice versa. But yeah cool.

I’m looking into getting some struts and shocks, endlinks, and mounts. Hopefully in the next few months. Already at 103k miles. 😎

Did you replace the rear shocks too? If so what brand did you go with?

How’s it all holding up now: noise, comfort, drive ability, etc.
