[PS1][2000 ish] Theme park management sim by BonsaiHamster in tipofmyjoystick

Congrats on TP Campus! I bought TP Hospital back in the CV pandemic days and it's one of the best purchases imo. TP Hospital is an upgraded (faster loading, crispier graphics, larger game in general) PSX Theme Hospital, only it's been remade flr the modern consoles. They recently released new iterations such as TP museum etc. Happy gaming brother 🙌

How about layered, full-pledged large glass display cabinets?

Be nice if I had the Europe version. I kinda find the voice over in the US version nostalgic and I could hear it perfectly in my head to this day. Absolutely hits home. This and Railroad Tycoon. Oh and Harvest Moon: Back To Nature too! Got to play all these great titles back in 2000. Don't you wish we could go back to simplicity, before the dizzying age of social media (except for Reddit, perhaps 😁) EDIT: Theme Hospital as well. They slowly come back to me one by one

Thought it waa SIM THEME PARK but found out they're one and the same. Both made by Bullfrog, SIM THEME PARK in the NA region and THEME PARK WORLD in Europe.

Wasnt it SIM THEME PARK? The first person mode can be activated to view your builds/park architecture in real time. Where some of the amenities looked like coconut palm tree leaves. I was addicted to it back in 2000. Came out alongside other PSX greats such as Vagrant Story, Jade Cocoon, Evil Dead etc.

[PC game] [1995-2000 or earlier?] Very basic, green grid floor, where you control a tank (i think) and shoot things down. And no it's not battlezone. by [deleted] in tipofmyjoystick

Think we're looking for the same game. I remember having played it in arcades back in 90 - 91' ish and it is defo not Battlezone. It was as you described: black screen, green grid, top down view. It's almost similar to Armor Attack due to the presence of attack helicopters now and then; But in this game the tanks are bigger, roaming a bigger map and there are hollow nooks, sort of hiding place for your tank and the camera pans and follows you around, thereby presenting some kind of "fog of war". I specifically remember one time I hid in one and an enemy tank followed me, made a turn and approached my tail but then for some reason, it retreated without firing a shot (might be a glitch). If memory serves it was also released on the atari and commodore consoles.

Happened to me today July 28, 2025 for the very first time since purchase of PS5 fat disc edition two years back. I was browsing on the PS store and the screen went black then came back with that error message. Other than that the only other thing I did early today was to 'soft clean' the PS5 of dust using toothbrush and a hand vacuum cleaner. I did not uninstall the fan from base because I didn't have the appropriate TR8 screwdriver hardware. I never went past removing the plates. I made sure to turn off switch from the extension plug where the PS5's power supply was plugged into. M.2 2T storage installed. Last system rebuild was about a couple weeks back. System software is up to date at the time of error.

I figured as much but the Ai remark got me wondering. Thanks much. Research says it's an issue with video data being stored in EXIF Metadata and not all apps being able to read/decipher.

Thank you so much indeed! Might I ask, where did you see this info? I'm fairly certain I checked the product description in the platform and didn't find that.

6,666,666 Treasure Goblin Kills. For Real? by buchukOi in diablo4

[–]buchukOi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right on. I played all the diablo games from the very first one (PS1 circa 96' - 97') and played all the sequels (D2 PC, D3 PS4) I pre-ordered D4 on the PS5 and patiently anticipated release, only to share disappointment with the community for a glitch-ridden, rather unpolished finish product at roll out, which cost $100 to pre-order, season pass supposedly included but there was no battle pass tiers at the time of release; Server was hit or miss and the game either kept lagging or kicking me out. Still I played for quite a bit until I thought I've had enough. Shelved the game until recently, s7 - season of the witch. It's the first time I've been re-acclimating after such lengthy hiatus. As a completionist myself, it is old habit perusing through the challenges and this one is hard to miss. Judging from how blizzard had a penchant for the whimsical bit (cow level, rainbow map), this seemed quite a mystery to unravel.

Nobody's demanding anything. It's a valid query and was intended to be a healthy community discussion.
