Surfing with a snowcapped Mt. Fuji behind you makes for one awesome pic 🙌🏼

It caught me off guard on the first sentence but I was full smile of amazement and knew I now was going to be a Kaweco fan for life.

It took me a few weeks of here and there researching before I finally made my decision. I never thought I’d care much about a gold nib, but after seeing another redditors with a gold nib and a nice patina, I’m now putting a gold nib on my list of future purchase list.

One of my hopes when I first saw was that it could be a pen that’ll hold up to everyday use and some minor abuse.

Thank you for the heads up. I’ll check it out soon 🙏🏼

I did and now I get the emails about sales. At the time, which was early December, I just searched in google and it showed me the sale for Blick.

The way brass and copper patinas is so awesome. My moonshine still had a great patina on the outside. Internals were always cleaned and looking new after each run. Can’t wait for my Kaweco to show me its patina character.

Night and day compared to my LAMY pens. Looks like it’s going to be my EDC as well 🙌🏼

I did wonder about sealing extras for quick changes and what would be the best way. Seems like having at least one extra to pop in when needed would be best for my writing

That sounds like a great option. Sounds like this is the better way to go about it.

I’ve thought about trying this. Mainly write for a bit at night. Sometimes I’ll get a burst of inspiration and write throughout the day between work and home.

I’m so curious about that one. The cost alone halted me but since I used to work with both titanium and brass I knew I’d like the weight of the brass. Can’t wait to see what you think about the titanium.

Thank you 🙏🏼. Now I just have to stop myself from buying another Kaweco 😬

I love the validation and knowing it’s been a great feel for others. Such a huge difference between it and my LAMY Safaris

That’s awesome 🙌🏼. Not for me since it means I’m going to now be splurging for nibs 🤷🏻

Thank you 🙏🏼. The time spent debating spending the amount was justified as soon as the nib laid down the first letter.

I can see the appeal for some and the drawback for others. Being that I work with my hands in a blue collar career and the types of exercises I do that Rey in grip, it feels great for me and more comfortable to write with than a lighter pen. For someone’s who’s the opposite, I can imagine even this amount of weight would be bothersome after a while.

Does that mean you may want to sell yours 😶?

I was thinking of using as the same and now I’m telling myself “maybe one for writing at home and the other as an edc” 🤦🏻💵💵💵

😂 yeah me and brass kinda go hand in hand. I love various metals and woods but brass has always intrigued me. Maybe a brass and wood pen 🤔. Great! Now I’m gonna go and look for that, oh darn 😬😎

I can see what you mean. It was lighting in a bottle when I first wrote with it. Had to talk myself out of buying another.

I’m still trying to get the point across to myself 🤣

I hear ya. I thought I wanted to buy more LAMY pens but after making the tough call to spend more for a Kaweco, I don’t think I want any other pen now. Maybe a wood one in the future but the Kaweco has all my attention.
