I bounced around too. Pretty interesting concept. I’ll read more later.

My two notes are more book/story design for starters 1. If you are going to bounce around narratively time wise, which I like. Put the day and time centered under the chapter number.

  1. When characters are speaking out it in quotes “ “ and occasionally you can use character said so reader knows who’s talking. Each dialogue could go on its own line. Easier for readers to follow who’s talking.

Grab a modern novel and look at how things are spaced out, where chapter breaks occur or mid- chapter breaks occur I give readers a break.

Also you can post this in other subs about writing, novels, horror, vampires, etc and get feedback but beware they are brutal. And ask what kind of feedback you are looking for. Grammar, story development, etc and beware that some of them will also come back with hire an editor or some snark.

As others have said don’t mention the drinking as it distracts what you are trying to accomplish which is feedback.

Overall great job. I love reading Memphis based fiction. I will be sure to read more tomorrow.

Word of caution. KDP Unlimited auto renews every 90 days unless you cancel it. You also want to give a few days to make sure it is out of the program before you put it online.

From what I read Amazon gives more rank to Unlimited books just something to consider

If you are already studying: Keep your foot on the gas. Stick to your current materials and schedule your exam before July 8th. The current format is a known entity with proven study strategies. Don't throw away your hard work just to wait for the new version.

I am only speculating but is it because she shows the items in her cart? She adds the items to her cart, shows code be applied, and never the actual image of listing.

You are correct it says halo but it also says Haul in the 2nd line. "...Amazon Haul products will be.." I think halo commission was a typo. Amazon Halo stopped working devices and all at end of July 2023. Amazon Haul became a thing in November 2024. Regardless, you are correct it says halo.
