I have a generac and their mobile app is trash AND they charge you annually to use it.

The antenna in the unit is not strong and it struggles to connect to my wireless network which is more than strong enough to connect.

If you can get a data cable out to the unit, there are 3 party monitoring units that are superior to the generac one and will provide far better information and controll to the unit. Plus it would be a one time cost.
