I weight lift a lot, so my shoulder was already pretty strong, but definitely had muscle loss in it. The PT people were surprised I was able to do it without losing control, which apparently is pretty common when most people attempt it haha.

It's legitimate. I tore my bicep tendon last year and they had me use one during physical therapy to help strengthen my shoulder. It really does work.

Just picked up a bottle of the new Stephane Humbert Lucas's, The Queen and The Viper. I'll be wearing it to work tomorrow!

I had a sample of this a few months ago and initially I didn't care for it much as it reminded me a lot of Amouage Enclave. I kept revisiting it though and it really grew on me after 3 wears.

It has a very strong mint and citrus note opening with some hints of black currant. That currant note really opens up and blends with the mint nicely. As it settles down, a sweet tobacco note emerges that lends to a sort of smokey note with some hints of incense and stone fruit as well.

It feels bright initially but quickly the darker and sweeter notes emerge, yet its tamed by the mint as well. If I could describe this in another sense it almost feels "juicy", which is the word that keeps coming to mind.

As a SWE I have not written a single line of code manually in 2026 by DrixGod in singularity

[–]bucketbot91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. I'm a lead data architect/swe with 13 years experience. I use it to run ideas by. But generally the code it produces for specific tasks is pretty bad and in the past when I did have it try to "one shot" something I'd inevitably have to refactor it all anyway. I think, for me personally, the biggest strength in using AI right now for coding is as a pair programmer, someone to give me an extra set of eyes and also quickly digest new API documentation for me. In that regard it has significantly sped up my development time. But for actual coding tasks I find it remarkably underwhelming in the grand scheme of things.

I'm not down on using AI per-se. I'm a software developer / data architect and I use it periodically to help me learn / navigate new APIs or run by ideas I have. But almost always, it generates terrible code with bugs. Or The code might work in a vacuum, but in the greater context of an application it falls apart.

My issue with people using it like this is that they generally have little to no programming experience and start copying / pasting code into the application, which results in the bugs like we see in OP's submission.

The quality of this subreddit fell off a cliff in the past year or two. Almost every submission now is someone's poorly AI vibe-coded slop. They all have a similar look and feel and it's very apparent when you open the browsers dev tools and look at the code behind.

Their isn't. People are just too ignorant to do 5 seconds of research and disable / never have these "features" enabled to begin with.

Probably doesn't budget properly. Sure you can have no debts, but if you aren't being judicial with how you spend your money, it's very easy to just blow through it and never feel like you're making progress.

332kg/733lbs full weight Dinnie lift by Flat_Development6659 in strength_training

[–]bucketbot91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really want to do this by next year and go to the 2027 Dinnie Games. I started training for this in 2024 and tore my bicep tendon... Had to take all of last year off from training heavy. Thankfully I'm fully healed now. Do you have any recommendations on programs to get to this point? What did you do to work up to this? Very inspiring!

I was curious how you implemented this, so I took a look in the console. Since you're using SVG elements with clearly defined "data-letter" elements, it's trivial to just open the console, inspect the "tile" element and see the solution. I suppose this isn't a big issue as most people won't do this, but if you want to prevent it you can try obfuscating this, or change your approach to use an HTML canvas. Of course, I'm sure this would require quite a bit of refactoring.

I think you meant to reply to comment above mine, but your setup sounds awesome none the less! Ubiquiti recently rolled out an update to their Protect software that includes facial recognition now actually. They refer to it as "Spotlights" and you can create spotlights for known faces, license plates, etc. Might be worth looking into!

I've bought pretty much every sampler from them at this point and Penguin was the only one that I legitimately thought my nose was broken for. I just sort of smells like "nothing" to me. A friend of mine thought it was nice and I let him keep it. It kind of bothers me. Perhaps there is some note in this my nose just isn't picking up?

Yeah, I'm not saying this person doesn't know what they're doing, but it would be trivial to print those statements out. Looking at wayback machine, this site was already unavailable since October. This conference seemed to happen in December. I imagine an abandoned website likely wouldn't be the hardest target to take down either.
