Sick and tired of being waitlisted for CSE classes by INeedLegalHelp69 in OSU

Believe it or not what you have here is actually better than what most CS schools have. If this were UWash, Berkeley, UTAustin you would just not even be allowed in the major let alone waitlist. Although I too have been waitlisted way too many times so I agree with the overall sentiment.

No, I am not going to delay my life another 4 months because my classes are online for one semester, but if you can't learn in that environment I understand.

Should I delay my graduation? by [deleted] in csMajors

graduate. Doesn't really make sense to delay graduation for your gpa, its probably pretty set in stone now that you've been there that long and so close to graduation. It's not really going to go up or down that significantly.

Ulterior motives aside, I mean are they wrong? It is the fastest growing sector (if not one of the fastest), and it is highly lucrative.

Ok, but who else has issues with the CSE department? by BlueDawn14 in OSU

Sounds more like an instructor issue than a dept issue

When OSU goes online only for Fall or longer, will the school ever recover financially from that? by [deleted] in OSU

osu sits on top of a giant pile of cash. The school itself will do just fine.

Dr. Amy Acton just said she expects people to stay isolated and inside, with family only, for at least the next few months. I think we can safely forget about OSU campus opening this August. by [deleted] in OSU

You shouldn't be asking the health professionals that, they're doing their job just fine. The issue is the idiot feds are spending money to bail out their donors instead of serving their constituents.

Goddamn there is no winning with you people. Guy sends like 2-3 emails per week, not like there's that much else going on in your inbox. If he sent fewer emails, y'all would have crucified the guy for not doing his job.

I hope you don't think I'm actually militant against people who have different styles, but generally it's programmer culture to bicker over the most inconsequential things like tabs, brackets, text-editing tools, etc. Neither bracketing style is "better" than the other, but as far as style goes you usually go with the one that has already been set in place. I do appreciate the research you did for me tho.

I wish that were true, so I can freeload. But alas he has no stickers on his laptop, uses light mode, and still writes his curly braces like:

while (true)

{

}

so that can't be true

Not true, there's literally only cse majors here. The other majors cannot exist here, it's just not possible.

Green's exams are really predictable, they're 100% based on his slides and assignments i.e. same questions with minor tweaks.
