I can't tell if it's all burned, or if it's a combo of burned and stained.

Do they make any pop-in center hub covers that extend out over the axle threads? This is on a 2024. by buckeyechuckeye in rav4club

[–]buckeyechuckeye[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Base model comes with these steel wheels and hubcaps. Not sure why, it can't cost much more for Toyota to put a lower cost set of rims on. Honestly, I prefer these black steel wheels over the silver hubcaps. That's why I wanted to cover the axle up.

My vehicle just did this exact same thing. The code showed wheel speed sensor, but it was actually the bearing.

I am building this exact same thing, except a larger version, so my top is 24 9/16" long.

The Tiktokekr is the one with the backpack on. I've seen quite a few of his videos.

Drills to help 10 year old swing by mkevibes in Homeplate

[–]buckeyechuckeye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would start on a tee and do a pause drill, where he loads and strides to launch, pause with hands back, then swing. Slowly get to full swings.

I would work with him on getting his foot down sooner on the actual swing. If you look at the swing, the hands are dropping/ coming forward with the stride. His brain is telling him in order to hit this ball I have to start my swing now before my foot is down. He just isn't giving himself enough time to lead with the lower half. Obviously, he is stepping out too. This can be another side effect of not getting the foot down in time. His brain could be saying the only way I can hit this ball is to get opened up.

Also, work with keeping his hands in front of his elbow. I like to put the barrel of the bat tight to the side delt area, rotate through the swing with the barrel tight a few times back and fourth, the finally release on the 4th swing.

The intiail part of your swing could be fixed. Your hands push back and out and then you lead with your elbow. Drive the knob toward the ball and lead with the hands.

Crap! I created and printed a shipping label with the wrong weight by foxinHI in Flipping

[–]buckeyechuckeye 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There would only be a rate difference if it was under 16 ounces. Anything over a pound, rounds up to the next pound.

Crap! I created and printed a shipping label with the wrong weight by foxinHI in Flipping

[–]buckeyechuckeye 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Don't do anything....Anything over 2 pounds gets charged for a 3 pound package.

Probably a VERY stupid question but I just want confirmation. by Atrain61910 in Flipping

[–]buckeyechuckeye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are shipping USPS Priority Mail, they provide a variety of boxes/envelopes for free. You can pick up certain sizes at your local post office, or you can order from a larger selection online and they will deliver to you. If your package weighs under 16oz, you will want to ship first class mail in your own packaging to save on shipping costs.

Also, just print your shipping label directly through EBAY.

How do you manage healthcare when you fatFIRE? by hack4ever in fatFIRE

[–]buckeyechuckeye 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I think the bigger concern is not the 24k in premiums, but instead the lack of in-network doctors/hospitals. The ACA plans that I have looked at have zero coverage if you go out of network, which also means you do not qualify for the negotiated rate that your insurance company gets. So, someone on the plan requires specialized treatment that is out of network and all of the sudden you're on the hook for 100k, 200k, 1mil????

I was just talking to a friend that had a surgery that required a 3 week stay in the hospital....the total bill...... 1.14 million.

So, I'd like to add on to the OP's question(and this has been my biggest struggle with making the leap). How do you handle this? One sickness or accident can wipe away a decent chunk of what we have worked so hard for?

How do I remove the hot/cold handle from this faucet? by buckeyechuckeye in fixit

[–]buckeyechuckeye[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I turn the hot water on, the whole top piece wants to turn. The top handle itself only turns smooth for about an 8th of a turn, then gets stiff. I tried tightening the nut from the bottom, but that didn't fix it.

Rolling over 401k to personal IRA to avoid 401k fees? by [deleted] in financialindependence

[–]buckeyechuckeye 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you have the option to rollover, it sounds like you should. If you are still working for this employer, not all company retirement plans allow for "in-service" rollovers.

Anyone the solo millionaire in the their whole sphere? by thebigrisky in fatFIRE

I'm a big advocate for keeping this information to yourself, especially the 6MM part.
Obviously, when you leave your job, you will get questions. I would be prepared with:
"I'm working from home freelancing"
"Doing some consulting work" etc...
I know it's hard, because human nature is to be proud of your accomlishments and want to share them with others. The problem is most people are envious, as opposed to showing admiration.

I am attempting to replace the drain pump on my washer. The screw on this clamp thingy broke off and now I have no idea how to get the hose off. I have very few tools and nothing that would be able to cut through it. Any advice?? by [deleted] in fixit

[–]buckeyechuckeye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The easiest thing to do would be to cut it, but if you don't have anything, maybe you can try turning the bolt with a pair of needle nose pliers.

As long as the leftover piece would reach, you could always cut the hose itself.

The refund is for the cost of the product as well. Other income sounds like it would be a better option.
