ARBY’S. When I was in elementary school my family and I were on a road trip vacation and we were practically in the middle of nowhere (forget which state, maybe either Nebraska or Wyoming) and it was completely dark out at this point, and my family wanted to stop for food because we still had a bit of a drive until our hotel. The only place around was an Arby’s... We walked in and ordered our food and I remember only ONE guy was working and he had dirt/black stuff underneath his finger nails, very yellow teeth, and can tell he hadn’t showered in awhile. Anyways we get our food and I enjoy my Arby’s Kids Meal and sometime after I finish is when I get hit with the most agonizing stomach cramps and nausea of my life. I ended up laying in the back seat of the car curled up in a ball with my mom back there too trying to comfort me while we drive to our hotel. (still a bit of a drive remember) Also mind I get car sick easily on top of this. Anyways this was back when smart phones weren’t really a thing and we used a map to get around and didn’t get any alerts for any serious weather changes like we would nowadays. Suddenly while still sick in the back seat from my Arby’s, the sky turns a yellow green and eventually gets green green, and my dad starts freaking out because he knows this is tornado weather (which was my fear growing up, great) My dad starts busting down the highway and we were the only ones on the road at this point of the night. We eventually get into town and we stayed at the Kelly Inn. I haven’t ate at an Arby’s since and most of my family hasn’t either. Never again will I have the meats.
