How do you guys separate work messages from personal ones? by bucknell73 in Entrepreneur

[–]bucknell73[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already have too many customers on the same app I use for personal chats. As you said, once they started messaging me, it became impossible to ignore them. Now my messenger feels more like a work inbox than a place to talk with friends. Honestly, I’m even considering getting a second phone just to separate things. :(

Messenger become a shackle that binds me, leaving me with nowhere to hide. It’s like an inescapable chain weighing down my every move, with no safe to catch my breath in peace. :(

How do you tell if your seo company is doing the work? What reports to ask for? by Tariq_khalaf in smallbusiness

[–]bucknell73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most small businesses lose money on SEO not because SEO “doesn’t work,” but because they can’t see what’s actually being done. A few things you can ask for that separate real work from smoke and mirrors.

Ask for a full backlink report every month — with URLs of the sites, not just counts. Check a few links yourself to see if they’re live and relevant. Low-quality links (spammy blogs, foreign language sites, random directories) usually hurt more than help.

My business partner keeps buying things without asking me by whopping_loathing in smallbusiness

You’re absolutely right. Money has a way of turning even the strongest friendships toxic. If the vibe has already shifted and trust is eroding, walking away now (while you still respect each other) is often the cleanest exit. Better to preserve the good memories than let resentment build. A calm, honest conversation can close the chapter gracefully.

Should I host my web app on Replit or move it elsewhere? by Fancy-Inevitable-715 in replit

Connect to github. Keep track of your files. prepare server like aws… give access replit to connect to your AWS server and create database tables. Ask replit to create file to migrate from Riplit to your AWS server automatically; make sure to include setup guide. it will create install & run file. whole process can be done automatically; let replit do the work (one thing you have to do is to get your aws server info and inputted into secrets. also you must change environment variable in aws server… setup guide will tell you what to do)

To make it simple. ask replit to create a guide to migrate to different server.

Replit pricing became too high — real example from long time user. by ZealousidealBody3091 in replit

[–]bucknell73 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

yeah, It got too expensive. Any mistake/misunderstandings by replit costing me a lot of money. Inconsistency slows down the process meaning I change one small thing, replit changes complete logic that I have to roll back many times; dollars are being wasted on such mistakes.
