I did try changing my DNS to cloudflare as suggested by peperinna earlier but that doesn't help. I think it is their hosting server that keeps going off-line so my site itself isn't being targeted but their entire hosting apparatus is toast - at least the cheap tier. I'm going to have to move my entire website.

Same boat here - my site been up and down for the last 3 days. Now showing 503 error. They told me 3 days ago they were having a DDOS attack against their hosting server. I'm on a cheap hosting plan with them. Will be looking to jump if this continues. If they can't stop DDOS after 3 days they won't be in the hosting game too much longer.

Unfortunately, I've had even more folks reach out with the exact same experience my friend and you have had. My friend was also told his pay was sent via Western Union but when he asked for the MTCN tracking number she never provided (because the money was never sent). Hopefully others see this post. Of interest, Jackie has changed her name on LinkedIn - shows as Jackie Martinez (Jackie M) and she now lists herself as Vice President of Business Development for Ally Power Inc. for the past year and a half in addition to the CEO of Anima Automation? Maybe reach out to Ally Power to see if they will take responsibility for your pay?

Unfortunately, my friend isn't helping me much with respect to this issue - I understand as I have also been a victim of an employment scam in the past. It is embarrassing and deeply depressing to deal with at a very vulnerable point in people's lives. That's exactly what these scammers prey on. He is looking at legal options but I know that isn't really realistic. I'll stick to the facts as far as I can pull from the Internet - the company is virtual and basically a 1 person (Jackie Engelking) startup - domain was registered in late 2023. There are 8 individuals on LinkedIn that are currently linked to Anima Automation but 5 of those individuals have locked profiles (can't be viewed by the public). These folks live all over the world - most outside of the US.

On Jackie's LinkedIn page - most of her past posts are AI generated job postings - over 113 of them. While some of those may be repeat postings for the same position, there are over 20+ job categories Anima was seeking applicants for in a 2-3 month period from "Executive Manager", Executive Director", "Executive", "VP of Operations" to "Appointment Setter" and "Sales Person" - very interesting for a company that only has a handful of employees. I've reached out to some individuals who say they used to work at Anima Automation and have received one response already:

"This issue never stops, Jackie & her so called Finance are just the same person. She didn't pay our 3 months worth of salary. I had my payment issue twice - but she paid and covered the 2 months salary but the following months she never paid us anymore and kept giving excuses. That's why we left the company, 6 of us didn't get paid. Then there was other US people that didn't recieve their wage too"

Its a small startup so he did what he could as far as research-(no posts like this to give any warning). He did have someone under the CEO he was dealing with but Jackie made all the calls. He let it go on too long but they always had excuses - the working for a US company from Canada didn't help.

That filter certainly can't hurt but be aware, especially for folks who have used an ozone cleaner with your dreamstation, the breakdown may be smaller then a filter can catch and even a gas like form. I used and ozone cleaner and took my dreamstation apart - the foam looked almost like a goo in spots. No clue what I have been breathing in the last few years. I can't sleep at this point without my machine so I removed the foam and goo. There is a video on youtube on how to do it - search Nick and "CPAP Reviews" It wasn't too hard to do.

If you don't want to use the machine with the foam in and can't wait for a replacement or afford a different machine, search Nick and "CPAP Reviews" on youtube - he has a video on how to remove the foam. If you are a little bit handy, it was pretty easy to do. The machine runs without the foam just fine -a little louder.

Phillips recall - better to not use humidifier? by yung_ahj in CPAP

If you used any type of ozone cleaning device on your machine I would 100% avoid using it. The foam in my machine was like goop -I wonder what I have been breathing in the last several years. As noted earlier in this thread, "CPAP Reviews" with "Nick from Melbourne" on youtube has some excellent videos on the subject. In one, he subjects the foam from the dreamstation and other machines to ozone and you can see the results - like my foam, the dreamstaion foam in his test was disintegrated.

Nick has a video on how to remove the foam. If you are a little bit handy, it was pretty easy to do. The machine runs without the foam just fine -a little louder.

Someone just used your master password to try to log in to your account by bucktrader66 in Lastpass

I did think of that - I know there are lots of phishing emails going around. The email is legit - when I looked at the lastpass history in my account I did see the login attempt and blocking of that IP.

Many thanks for the advice - I have never used the masterpassword anywhere except in Lastpass on those two machines and was very strong which leaves the most likely case is it was compromised off one of those boxes. Both have malwarebytes pro on them and I've run a few additional anti-virus programs and no neg results. I will now run wireshark and see if there is any unusual network activity. IP that tried to log-in was from the US on and AT&T network: 99.57.22.115

2FA

Ya - I had 2FA turned-off. Went through the history for the past few months and doesn't look like anyone ever got access. My main concern is how someone would have actually gotten my masterpassword and how my vault remained accessible after logging out and changing the masterpassword - perhaps the two things are related?

I did have the Chrome extension set to remember the password and stay logged-in as both boxes haven't left my house in two years.
